Impressed and inexpensive. Works great.
I have to admit I was not expecting much with this Nelko label maker. It was way under $20 on sale an figured if it worked, i got my money's worth. Not only did it work, but it worked ideally for what I needed it for. I label painted pvc poles for an obstacle course for my Avata 2 and Neo. I have labeled my drone cases as i have several drones and cases are quite similar. I also label jump drives with music and videos. The tape that comes with it and the tape you buy for it, overall sticks well but with textured plastic, as my cases are, where it is not perfectly smooth, but has micro air pockets, so tape does not 100% seal, but it does a good job. On the pvc, it does wonderful and no issues on other items. Adheres very well overall. The labeler uses no ink, which is great as when a tape comes out, it's dry. No smears or smudges. The clear tape is hard to see on where to peel it, but other tapes I have tried are easy to peel. I read where you have to use the Nelko brand tape only as otherwise it will not advance tape properly. The tape roll has a green sticker on the side and apparently without it, it can cause issues, so don't take it off. The labeler is quite quick as the tapes are small and not alot can be written on them, but seems to be the same as other comparable labelers this size. The tape is easy to replace, but you have to be precise on setting it over the area right before the tape comes out of the labeler. If you don't go far enough, it will not work and light on labeler will be red. You go too far out, you'll possibly waste a label. When you get it just right, you'll know and the light will be green. Connecting with your phone or other device to the app is pretty simple. You need to use their app, which I had a few small issues with on just trying to figure it out. Once I got the basics, I have wasted I think 2 labels, so not too bad. It can be a wee frustrating getting all the words in the exact spot for placement on the label, but gets easier as you use it more. It has little cartoon style characters and items, different fonts, frames, etc... It is limited, but they have an ok collection for most things.I have since bought several more labels and when you buy a 3 pack, they are much cheaper than individually. I also bought the sticker maker PM-230 which is cute and works well, using the same app but with that model within the app being a little different. They do have several style of labelers and sticker labels. Both models I purchased came with free labels which seems to be a better deal and gives you a chance to play with it a little before deciding if you want more labels or different colored ones. All these go on sale, so get them on sale unless it is something you got to have now.Overall, I'm quite happy with this and the PM-230.

Organizers Rejoice!
This is an absolute gem of a find! I am in the process of doing some deep organization of our home using a lot of acrylic organizers and such along the way. I was about to purchase chalk labels to use on the organizers when I happened to come across this label maker and I am so grateful I did!The setup via QR code and android app was a breeze - I was literally creating labels within minutes of turning it on. There are so many options to customize your labels however you'd like from adding frames, changing fonts/text size, adding pictures/emojis...even premade labels of almost anything you can imagine. Connection to the printer is smooth and reliable. The cutter function works well making clean accurate cuts. The labels themselves have printed clear and bold with no smudge of images/text and adherence has been great - even allowing for some repositioning for the perfectionists like me.At this point, I've created about 3 dozen labels over a couple of days and the battery is still hanging in there. It does come with a charging cord that I will likely use soon to avoid battery draining out on me. Durability wise - it's compact, not too heavy, made of sturdy materials that appear will stand the test of time. All in all - I'm quite pleased with the purchase and at this point have no complaints aside from needing to purchase their brand of label refills only - off-brand labels are not recommended - though you do get a large quantity of labels with original purchase so this may end up being a non-issue for you depending on your needs. If you're looking to step up your home organization - this is a gamechanger and huge time saver. Highly recommend!

Teacher favorite!
As a teacher, organization is key—and the Nelco Label Maker has been a total game-changer in my classroom. It pairs effortlessly with my phone via Bluetooth, making it incredibly easy to design and print labels on the spot, whether I’m at my desk or walking around the room. One of my favorite features is that it never runs out of ink—no more scrambling for cartridges or dealing with dried-out ribbons. The labels print crisp and clear every time, and I love the customization options available through the app.I’ve used it to label student cubbies, classroom supplies, folders, and even art bins. It’s compact, stylish, and so easy to use that I’ve even let my students help with organizing tasks (they love it too!).Highly recommend for any educator who wants to keep their space neat, functional, and stress-free!

Easy. Customizable. Effective.
Highlights: this WILL work with generic labels (with a caveat I’ll explain below) and the app is functional and user friendly.Closing in on two months of use, I’ve had zero issues so far. The app allows me to add different elements and multiple text boxes (each with different fonts and font sizes). It does what my traditional label maker can’t: move text wherever I want and save as many templates as I want for future printing. There may be additional features I could buy, but so far I haven’t needed to.In terms of build, it feels solid. Loading the labels in simple, but there cutting mechanism is a little awkward. The labels themselves print cleanly and stick well, but also allow for removal. And as I said earlier, this does work with generic labels. The caveat to that is there aren’t a lot of options in the generic Nelko size (and the plain white Nelkos can be pricy if you plan to print a lot). You can sort of make do with the wrong size (like 12x40 labels) but since that’s not a dimension specified in the app, it won’t feed correctly. But at least it doesn’t refuse to print as I’ve heard other printer brands do.So while I really like this label maker and I would totally recommend it, the label cost and availability are something to consider before buying.
