These worked flawlessly. The fit and size matched the old ones. The entire repair took me less than 5 minutes and required only 3 tools. An Allen Wrench to remove the handle, a large crescent wrench to remove the retaining nut, and a pair of pliers to grip and pull the cartridge out (you might be able to do this with strong fingers only). Of course be sure to shut the water off first. A rag to push into the hole to remove the water may be helpful and a flashlight to see in the hole may help also, but I was able to do it all by feel. It may help to use needle nose pliers or a hemostat to retrieve the old pieces out of the hole and position the replacement, especially if you don't have thin fingers. The only question now is longevity. My home is 15 years old and I am starting to need to replace these on my sinks and showers. Hopefully these last another 15. The old ones get hard and the black rubber dissolves into a black watery mess that is kind of hard to wash off. Having a bag of these ready for the next sink should be nice. I'm sure I'll be doing this on many more sinks in the next year or two.

No more leaky Delta kitchen faucet.

This product works perfectly to stop your Delta bathroom faucet from leaking out the top. Be aware that the rubber parts are harder and more plasticy than the originals. They work fine. However the faucet handle movement will feel a bit different from the original parts. In particular you will find that the faucet handle will take much less effort to move. Many will like this difference and see it as an improvement. I deducted one star just because it doesn't actually match OEM in this manner. The value for the money is excellent.

This part is what normally fails after prolonged use in a Delta faucet. replace it first and it will usually stop a leaky faucet. Most of the time it's just the spring that fails but replace both. But just in case order the faucet stem. it normally is the most reliable part and rarely fails. You can google how to change, plenty of good videos on YouTube.

Ease of replacement: My experiences with plumbing repairs have not been good. That said; this repair went very well. The product fit and worked well, but the good experience for me was helped by watching Youtube videos!!!! So much info out there, i.e. the "pitfalls", the possible mistakes, and HINTS! The hint I experienced was the "trick" for installation of the new spring and rubber seal I added to my order. "Slip both on a straw the fits the hole in the spring and seal. Hold them in place on the straw, put the end of the straw in the hole ---- then let the spring and seal slide down the straw and into place in the hole.
