nicht nur für Beatles Fans

Das Buch beschreibt die Geschichte des EMI-Tonstudios in der Abbey Road. Man staunt über die Bedeutung dieser Einrichtung, die weit über die Beatles hinausgeht. Interessant ist der Verlauf von der Wachsplatte zur vollelektronischen/digitalen Heimaufnahme, die letztlich die Geschichte beendet. Ja, alles hat seine Zeit. Klare Leseempfehlung. Bisher gibt es wohl noch keine deutsche Übersetzung.
