It was very thin and light gauge wire, but it did the job I needed it for, protecting seeds from the birds. I doubt that it would keep a fox out though.

This is great blue chicken wire and was just about the right length for what I needed, to keep our house rabbit from escaping on it garden. Whilst it was perfect for my needs the wire itself is quite thin, which is good because it's easy to cut and bend where you need it, but may not be suitable for retaining any more powerful animals than rabbits or chickens.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I wanted a small roll of chicken wire to protect my fruit from squirrels. This item did the job, though it’s the flimsiest chicken wire I’ve ever bought. It’s a small roll and suitable for small areas.

Bit lightweight but on the other hand it didn’t cost very much
