All Around Great Deal
This marks my 5th attempt in over a year trying to check off all of my boxes when searching for a pair of headphones. Here is what I wanted: - Under $100 (Got these for $80) - Over-ear - Wireless - Good sound stage and width - Good battery life - Non-obtrusive Noise Canceling - Option for wired connection - Prominent bass, punchy/smooth mids, clear highs - Comfortable on the head and ears (I have a L/XL head) Every box was checked except for one tiny thing in the audio, which is kind of negated on price point alone. More on that in this next paragraph. Just got these today, have tested them with about every genre that mixes differently (ex music producer and engineer), tested them on some of my favorite mixed movies and played a few of my favorite games... here is my take on the sound. With ANC on, the mids essentially disappeared as well as the compression on the bass, but it's not nearly as bad as some higher-end headphones I tried. The highs are still nice and crisp with the center of the mix (especially vocals) pushing through nicely. With ANC off, the headphones sound great. The sound stage is there, even though the bass comes through very heavy, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the drivers and panning information. The layering is beautiful with a well mastered/mixed song. Very compressed feel but overall impressive for the cost. The one problem with the mix is that the mids are not very prevalent. You can hear it in most of the modern mixes of today, especially in the vocals, guitar tones, drum fills, swelly instruments and other smooth mid instruments, as well as certain FX and folly in movies. They are there, but not to the quality of like an expensive pair of Sans or Boss. Regardless, I'm pretty impressed. The connectivity and functionality of the headphones are pretty straight forward. Easy to understand, instructional images on a single faced print out with a button map. Comes with a short USB-C to USB-C, and even shorter USB to USB-C, an AUX cable (3.5mm), a 1 year global warranty booklet and of course the headphones. No protective case. But the packaging is solid and well designed. Pairing was a breeze They are lightweight and durable in their construction. The headband adjustment increment locks are a bit loose but doesn't seem to matter when on your head. The ears/cans themselves have a short ranged swivel on them. The cushioning material and density are somewhere in the middle in terms of quality but they are super soft and decently breathable. They kind of hug your head like a concerned but not overbearing mother who has cookies waiting for you after your talk. They look absolutely beautiful. The matte finish is kind of a ballsy choice because of potential scratches and oils but damn, are they pretty. Skullcandy has always had some Master Chief meats Alien lookin designs but these have a definite umph in class about them. Overall, I feel like Skullcandy has stepped it up with these headphones. They understand the assignment and have listened to what people are complaining about. At least I can dream in thinking I helped contribute to that 😂 I will update this review soon to let you all know how durable and consistent everything remains, as well as battery life. Happy Shopping :) UPDATE: Still loving them, nothing has changed. Have even fallen asleep with them on a few times and they still survived my Andre the Giant head.

My 12-Year-Old Loves These!
I bought these as a gift for my 12-year-old, and they were a huge hit. The sound quality is excellent, the noise canceling works well, and they're comfortable enough for him to wear for long periods while listening to music, gaming, or watching videos. Pairing was quick and easy, and the battery life has been impressive. They feel sturdy without being too heavy, and the design looks great. So far they've held up well to daily use and have become his go-to headphones. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy them again. Five stars!

Always happy with Skullcandy
I've been using these for almost a year now, purely for music at the gym but I have used them for a little gaming on my computer. They're plenty comfortable, very lightweight, and the sound quality is awesome. There was actually a bit of sound effects I was missing out on in Cyberpunk 2077 with my older open ear Sonys. I'd say if anything they do feel a little flimsy, but they've been holding up great and not showing any signs of breaking down yet. Being closed they can definitely get warm on your ears, but that's just a downside of closed headphones in general. The noise cancellation is very impressive. My gym actually had a CrossFit class that ran in one of the open rooms, and if you've seen one of those they play their music LOUD, but I could barely hear it through it these. If someone is near me doing deadlifts and slamming the bar down I don't hear anything. Even when I do deadlifts and let them slam I can barely hear it. I haven't done a real battery life test, or even paid much attention but it seems great. I get 2 weeks out of them easy, so that's around 10-15 hours. Even when they do start complaining about a low battery I've always been able to finish my workout before they completely died.

Side Sleepers BEWARE
First off, I absolutely LOVE these for daily use. I’m on the spectrum and daily noise from others angers me, so these are perfect for being able to go about my day without being bothered by others. The noise cancelling is great, and they fit on my head a million times better than any other pair of headphones I’ve tried (which is a LOT). Plus they’re lightweight and super cute! Now that being said, my main reason for purchasing these was to cancel out my noisy neighbors early morning nonsense since I’m an incredibly light sleeper. While these work great for just that, I noticed the first night that if you lay your head on your side, you’ll get jump scared with an incredibly high pitched and loud squeak of feedback from the microphone. I found out it’s due to them being fairly cheap, and since theres mics on BOTH sides, it’s pretty unavoidable if you’re a side sleeper. If you’re a stomach or back sleeper, you’ll be fine and they do an incredible job and are super comfortable to sleep in. But as a stomach and side sleeper, I was incredibly disappointed to find this out.

IN-DEPTH REVIEW: Incredibly Reliable and Excellent Performance!
I've owned a pair of the Hesh ANC headphones for 2 years now and I love them. I'm a high school student and I use these headphones literally everyday, I'm not joking when I say that. These headphones have seen everything from hot, dry climates in the desert, humid tropical climates, concert mosh pits, numerous drops and falls, and frequent water splashes and spills. I highly recommend these headphones if you're looking for something reliable, comfortable, and functional. Like everything, this pair has pros and cons. I will discuss pros and cons first, and important notes afterward. I highly recommend reading the important notes section of this review as some things I mention may effect your decision on purchasing this product. Pros: These headphones feature very comfortable memory foam ear-cushions that are water resistant and fairly wear resistant as they have never failed to maintain their shape even after heavy use. The noise cancelling is very impressive in these headphones. I have used these headphones in environments with yard work equipment whirring, loudspeakers playing music, and airshows with loud aircraft overhead, and the noise cancelling does an excellent job. Do keep in mind that noise cancelling technology has it's limitations. These limitations include the inability to completely block out all noise (not 100% deafening), the inability to successfully suppress infrequent environment noises like speech, quick noises like pops or doors closing, furniture moving, etc.. With these limitations in mind, the noise cancelling ability of these headphones is very impressive in my opinion, as it very effectively blocks out lasting tones such as the bass in (loud) music, vehicles, etc.. The swiveling sections of this device allow for a very compact form factor making stowage when packing very efficient and easy. Brands like Geekria provide excellent carrying and packing cases, I have one myself that I bring with me to my bag everyday to carry my headphones and charging equipment when necessary. The Hesh ANC user interface (button panel) may appear complicated at face value, however the many functions accessible via the UI is well worth the very present yet minor learning curve. These headphones have 3 "noise cancelling" modes. Mode 1: Noise cancelling off, standard listening mode (muffled outside environment due to your ears being covered). Mode 2: Noise cancelling on, your environment is muffled significantly. And Mode 3: Ambient Mode. The Ambient mode uses the microphones on the headphones used for noise cancelling to monitor the sounds in your environment, and play these detected sounds back to you through the speakers. In other words, your headphones magnifies your outside environment, which removes the muffling effect the headphones have when they are in standard listening mode. With ambient mode on, your music/audio plays at the same volume as the sounds around you are, respective to your volume preferences. This mode can be useful when talking or listening to others while still listening to your music/audio of choice. Cons: The stock cushions, though comfortable, did begin to fall apart after about a 1.5 years of use. However, the cushions are replaceable. I replaced my cushions with some made by WickedCushions, a company that makes headphone cushion replacements. I recommend keeping the stock cushions, and only replacing them if necessary. Important Notes: The power button (push and hold) takes 3 seconds to power on, and about 4-5 seconds to power off. Although this isn't long, it can be annoying at times since it isn't as quick as pushing a button once or flipping a switch. The noise cancelling mode, when on, produces a "pressurized" feeling to the user's ears. To those with sensory perception sensitivity, I would recommend keeping this in mind. Lastly, I've experienced a strange malfunction with these headphones only twice before. In these incidents, the headphones paused music, played a loud buzzing noise for about 10-20 seconds, and then power off. However, once powering them back on, everything is normal. I do not know if this was caused by low battery, or whether or not mine are perhaps slightly faulty, but I haven't experienced this frequently, as it's only happened twice in the 2 years of use. Despite the very few cons mentioned, I very highly recommend the Hesh ANC headphones. They have been incredibly reliable for the 2 years I've had them, and I have no intention in replacing them anytime soon.

Great product!
I recently purchased the Skullcandy Hesh ANC Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones in True Black, and I'm beyond satisfied with my choice. These headphones are a standout in the realm of audio gear, especially for their price point. One of the major highlights of these headphones is the active noise cancelling (ANC) feature. It works exceptionally well to drown out ambient noise, allowing for an immersive listening experience whether I'm at home, commuting, or in a busy café. This feature alone has significantly enhanced my daily routines, letting me enjoy my music without interruptions. The sound quality is impressive, delivering crisp, clear highs and deep, punchy bass. Whether I'm listening to music, watching movies, or taking calls, the audio clarity is consistently excellent. Speaking of calls, the built-in microphone provides clear audio, making it perfect for both taking phone calls and video conferencing. Battery life is another strong point. The headphones offer up to 22 hours of battery life on a single charge with ANC on, which is more than sufficient for several days of heavy use. Plus, they charge relatively quickly, minimizing downtime. The comfort level of the Skullcandy Hesh ANC headphones is also noteworthy. They feature plush ear cushions that are soft and do not exert unnecessary pressure, making them comfortable for long listening sessions. The adjustable headband ensures a good fit for any head size. Additionally, the Bluetooth connectivity is reliable and quick to pair with both iPhone and Android devices, making the setup process seamless and hassle-free. The inclusion of physical buttons for control is a thoughtful touch, allowing for easy adjustments without needing to pull out your phone. Overall, the Skullcandy Hesh ANC Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones are a fantastic value for anyone looking for quality sound, effective noise cancellation, and comfortable design at a reasonable price. They are definitely a wise choice for anyone in the market for robust and reliable headphones.

fantastic headphones!
I love Skullcandy products and these headphones have been the best I've bought so far! First off, the fit is so comfortable. It's adjustable and the ear pieces rotate for an easy fit for anyone. In addition, the padding on the top makes long wear very comfortable! Second, the sound is fantastic. Every beat and every lyric. I don't know all the technical terms, but to the average, non-music expert, the sound is as good as I could ask for. Third, the battery life! 22 hours and they charge so fast. Fourth, the noise cancelling. I honestly wasn't sure what I'd think of it, but it's so great! It doesn't give you complete silence, but it blocks out all the white noise/background sound to give more focus to whatever you're doing. And it's perfect for the gym, because I don't know about y'all, but I don't need to hear other people breathing lol. These headphones are super lightweight, great quality, very easy to use, and the sound is so clear! They stay on pretty well in the gym (though I wouldn't do a whole lot of jumping in them lol) and are so comfortable for long study sessions. Highly recommend!

Comfortable Fit
I’m very satisfied with these headphones. The sound quality is great, and they’re lightweight, which makes them comfortable to wear for long periods. I also don’t like headphones that look too bulky on the head or sit far away from the ears. These fit my head really well and have a sleek, natural look when worn. Overall, I’m very happy with both the design and the sound quality, and I would definitely recommend them.

La cancelación de ruido.
Muy bueno, pero puedes tardar en acostumbrarte al Noise Cancelling.

Very good all round
The only downside to these headphones is that it can't be used while charging, and doesn't come with a protective case. However, it's definitely loud and bassy enough for me as a metal fan, the latency is low enough that I can use it for competitive gaming. The ANC is good, but it's not phenomenal, it blocks about half of most noise after the passive noise cancellation, I can't hear anyone when I'm at above 50% volume listening to music. It struggles with wind, and I find myself turning ANC off outdoors. One last thing, using the microphone and headphones at the same time REALLY degrades the audio quality over bluetooth but it'll always be better to buy this and a gaming mic seperately than a headset w/ a mic anyway. And you could just use the wire it comes with to circumvent this, though when plugged into my PC motherboard I can hear electrical interference, which is likely just my PC, but might come up for others too Definitely recommend
