Very lightweight, came in a shoebox sized box. Multiple sized pine dowels that screw into each other, very easy to put together. Takes maybe 15 minutes. It is very lightweight, and I do worry about the durability of the dowels that hold coats because they are quite light. I wouldn't doubt they may need replacing at some point, however it shouldn't be hard to find a similar piece of hardware store. For the cost, I'm happy with it. It gets my jackets and cardigans off the couch and has a clean but old school look to it. It's holding a couple of purses and a couple of jackets right now without any wobbling.

I love this coatrack. It is simple and well made. It looks very nice and far more expensive than it cost. It was very easy to put together and is sturdy. As it has been cold outside,I have gotten in the bad habit of putting jacket s and sweaters on the backs of the chairs in my dining room. I don't want to keep putting them back in the closets every time I take them off - but don't like how it makes my dining room look messy. This is a good compromise. I just stuck it in the corner with the outerwear and purses and it blends in well. Problem solved.

This coat rack looks great. It's super easy to assemble. I didn't look at the instructions for more than 5 seconds. The nice thing is, there is no nuts and bolts, all the wood pieces just nicely screw on to each other. it is very light weigh which I expected. The price is great so I didn't expect hard wood. But the quality is great for the price, very sturdy. It hangs our winter coats and hats with no issues. The size is just right and very sleek, not bulky at all. The only reason I took one star off is because it's not very heavy, you need to make sure you balance out the weigh of the stuff you hang on each side. We had one side too heavy one day, the coat rack fell over. But all in all, it's a good product and very functional for the price.

I purchased this coat rack because I wanted my daughter to have a place to hang her wet coat as she enters her dorm room when the rainy season begins here in Oregon. I have to admit, I was quite skeptical as I didn't expect much out of an $18 item but I thought i'd give it a try anyway as I didn't want to pay a lot for something she'd use for a short time. I have to say, this coat rack far exceeded my expectations. It was so easy to put together - literally it took me less than 5 minutes to assemble it and it holds a good number of coats and other items as the branches are sensibly placed in different directions and heights. The legs aren't weighted but as long as you balance the weight on the different branches, it seems sturdy enough. My daughter and her roommate love this coat rack and surprisingly, so do I. I just hope that it holds up through the year. I'll provide an update to how long it lasts as the school year progresses. I purchased the grey color coat rack and it looks beautiful - a subtle, soft grey that compliments her dorm decor. One of the best purchases I've made from Amazon. Update : My daughter just finished her first year and I'm happy to report that this coat rack held up really well. When ever we visited her or whenever she called me (which was everyday), I'd always notice how many things the girls managed to hang on this rack without it tipping over. As the year went on, I was really surprised that this simple coat rack was still upright and holding strong. On move out day, I took it apart as easily as I put it together and noticed that this rack looked as good as the day I put it together. There were not dings, chips or splintering - anywhere. I stored it in the box it came so it would stay in perfect condition for the day my son goes college in 2024. Such a simple item, with a simple design but it is perfect. Definitely a GREAT product that can be used over and over again. I still hold strong on my opinion that this is without question, one of the best products I've purchased from Amazon.

I bought this item to keep my many purses out of the way, and yet viewable. I asked my nephew to put it together for me as I don’t have much strength in my hands. He said it was very easy to do, yet seemed very strong and well balanced. We both really like the appearance and it’s the perfect size to fit in a small nook in my bedroom. I am so pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to others. Thanks for such a great product!!

That said, the rack isn’t heavy or wide enough to firmly hold heavier winter coats without tipping over, especially if you max out the hooks. It can feel a bit top‑heavy when loaded down, so it’s best used with lighter outerwear or in a spot where it’s not in a high‑traffic area. Overall, this is a solid budget‑friendly coat stand if you mainly need space for light jackets and accessories, but it may not be ideal if you plan to hang multiple heavy coats on it regularly.

Don't buy. It is a cheap plastic laminated wood. Not solid new Zealand pine wood as claimed.

Biraz kullandıktan sonra ayaklar bölgesindeki vida yerlerindeki ağaç kısmı parçalandı. Vidalama da yapılamadığı için kullanılamaz hale geldi. Çok kalitesiz bir ağaç cinsi kullanılmış olmalı ki bir kaç parça kıyafet asmakla bu hale geldi. Ayak bölgesi ayrıca satılsa belki o parça değiştirilebilir ve kullanılabilir. Ama böyle bir satış olmadığı için bu ürün alınmaz.

Height is just right , sturdy base , enough arms for hanging - bought 3 for each bedroom. Like the woody colour.
