Great, does the job well. We're farmers and often have mole problems. When you're pushing a piece of plastic pipe into the ground over and over again, trying to find runs, your palms start to hurt! This makes it much easier. Just hope the hubby doesn't leave it in a field and lose it🤣

Bought this to go with the mole trap. Very sturdy accessory that isn't really necessary as a stick would do the trick but was really effective at locating mole run and so not a waste of money. No regrets in purchasing especially as the rod and the trap dealt with the mole on its first outing.

Well made mole run “dibber” A good length with a nice wooden T handle to grip onto. The size of the head is perfect for soft ground, although in dry ground. It could be a little thinner - hence the four stars. Good price - well worth the money.

I didn't bother buying this when I bought the traps, but I'm really pleased I changed my mind. The mole creates hills on side-tunnels not on the main drag, so placing a trap in an uncovered molehill isn't as effective as placing it in their main tunnels, which run alongside. I can understand why some people say the traps don't work - without the mole-run finder you are practically wasting your time. This simple device was a gamechanger and, having had little success beforehand, I cleared my 1-acre garden of moles quickly and efficiently once I had it. If you are buying mole traps then this is as essential as the traps themselves.

Well made with a wooden handle and stainless steel shaft. However it is quite short at only 2ft (60cm) so you are bent over when using it and for deep runs you are practically touching your toes. There are longer ones available which are not so hard on the back. 9 months on and although I have not used it much the wooden handle has come off. Admittedly its has been bouncing around in a box on the back of a quad bike but my steel handled probes don't suffer from this.

This is an essential piece if you are trying to place mole trap in a run. The bulb at the end of the probe makes the finding of a run simple. The probe is well made and sturdy. A must buy if you intend to trap moles.
