Soaker hose connectors. Perfect! Strong and reliable.
No complaints. Strong and sturdy and easy to fit. Does what it says on the tin!

Does what I bought it for.
Fit so well the only concern is if you might have to remove it. I suspect that if I ever have to remove the connector I will need to use a stanley knife to cut apart the hose around it. Certainly I have no fear that it will ever come out on its own!

Too Small to seal
These might fit the Rubber type soaker hoses but they do not seal in the proper plastic soaker hoses as the barbs are only 14.5mm not the 16mm needed.

Neat way of joining hose pipes.
Bought to lengthen an expensive Gardina hose to a section of Hozelock hose. Put ends in hot water, pushed on, used two very small jubilee clips for a neat join. The only other way seems to be bulky plastic joiners which are not so good on a reel.

Barbed Comment
I have new irrigation hose and older irrigation hose up to 5 years old. These connectors split both, either immediately on fitting or within a few days. It's disappointing as these looked right for the purpose. Maybe there is no standard diameter or modulus of elasticity for 15mm irrigation tube, or maybe the barbs are too pronounced? It would need some experimenting to make these work, but why should that be up to me? I am simply buying compression fittings instead.

Great product. easy to use. just boil kettle and put the hose in it and push on easily.
