For the sake of 40 odd quid it was worth a try and if it wasn't great then it's no big loss, but it's actually a really nice unit and well packaged in a smart looking box etc. Definitely better than I expected by a long way. Nice features are that it seems to be able to remember the FM frequency you're using in a really old car and you just leave the same preset on the radio for it to deliver sound. It's not going to be Bose or HK quality for sure, but it's genuinely not bad at all. Also connects to the phone well without glitching or any real lag, which or modern car struggles with, and again it's better than expected. Suction mount may need a bit of glue once you find the right spot to stop it needing readjusting every time you hit a bump, but the sucker is holding well to the screen. Neither are a problem now as the screw mount is being used. I'd buy again, nice to actually get a bargain device that works for a change, and doesn't feel anywhere near as cheap as it was.

What I wanted was a CarPlay screen for my VW Up but everything I looked at except this was too big, dominating the dashboard. Using the glass sucker mount this is just the right size. (The box also ships with a permanent mount). Does everything it says on the box - if your iPhone has a.v. Apps, this mirrors them on screen. Bluetooths audio to the car stereo. Killer feature is your no longer risking 6 points on your licence fiddling with your tiny smartphone screen while driving.

For the price you can't fault it, I use it to steam Amazon music, Spotify, and for Waze sat nav, my only gripe is the wire can't be hid anyway without pulling the radio fascia off and trying to reroute it, but I'm happy with it's functionality

This is good as it allows me to use Google maps and android auto can't find my phone. However it's a nightmare when answering a call hands free! The sound and microphone don't work properly so I can hear people but they hear the radio from the car bizarrely. So it's a pain in that respect and I have to unplug this, turn the system off and restart to actually be able to talk to anyone on the hands free!

I bought this for my wife and knew I would have to install it and set it up, I'm a bit of a technophobe, I don't have much luck and I often need help (like a 7 year old sets up grannies new phone). This was so easy to set up, the instructions are very easy to follow, I had it playing my wifes Spotify favourites within 10 minutes through the system in her car. The quality of the unit is very good, it doesn't look or feel cheap, I like it so much I'm buying a 2nd one for my car. Set up, installation and power cable hidden all within 20 minutes, brilliant!
