Bought this product but didn’t install right away. Once installed it seemed to work great even with pressure. Used only a handful of times afterwards and it quit working all together.

I purchased several pumps for my cabin cruiser over the last few years using different brands. Had issues with them failing after a few months of use. I purchased this pump and after a few weeks, same thing happened. It just quit. I realized the problem was the pump was installed in the engine compartment where the temps are very high after running the engines for a while. Then when the pump ran for a period of time (like taking a shower), the extra heat from the pump combined with the engine room heat, burns out the pressure switch. So I moved the pump inside the cabin under the floor where temps are much cooler. Been running the pump hard for a few months now and it's still going strong. After running for long periods, I check the temps and the pump doesn't get hot at all (only slightly warm). I suspect this pump will last for several years now that it's not exposed to heat. Recommend installing in ambient temperatures. Very happy with pressure, volume, and quiet operation.

Great pump don't leave on & not running

I took my time reviewing this one as I wanted to extensively test it. I tried other pumps in the past and they all failed/rusted out, or (despite the claims) never built enough pressure for rain barrel sprinklers. This one on the other hand is absolutely phenomenal. It comes with everything you need to hook it up (even comes with an inlet strainer). I chose the 12 volts version because mine is connected to a battery that is being charged via solar panels. I must say that this pump packs a punch being 12V. It has a great water flow which is perfect for rain barrels sprinklers and works flawlessly every time I use it. I also love the self priming feature which works great. The only thing I have to maintain on this pump is the inlet strainer which is absolutely normal since I am feeding rain barrels water and it tends to have debris despite already having filters. It's also not very loud and the vibration is more than acceptable .. thanks to the rubber feet that definitely help dampen the vibrations. So far this pump has been performing well and has been very reliable .. I am extremely happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

This water pump was great, up until it just stopped working one day after 7 months. It wasn't run dry, or abused in any way. Just regular daily use. I'd have really expected it to last longer. The warranty by the company is a joke. They want the paperwork that came with it along with a video of it apparently not working. Save yourself the hassle and order something else.

Not all water pumps are easy to get to or install, just take your time

I am using this with a solar setup and a LiFePo4 12v battery. The setup includes a cheap Solar Charge Controller, a cheap 12v 20Ah LiFePo4 battery, this pump and some other miscellaneous fittings and wiring. All of this is inside a Craftsman TradeStack Rolling Case. Everything works as expected and now I actually have enough pressure to run irrigation if I need to. Currently everything is hand watered so we drag a hose from bed to bed watering our garden. The pump is not quiet but it isn't obnoxiously loud and when the case lid is closed you barely notice it. The wiring is a bit short but with strategic placement of the key components we have made it work. I would definitely recommend this pump for this purpose.
