Equity 33100 Electric Silent Analog Alarm Clock with Lighted Dial

Very inexpensive well made alarm clock. I really like the light up dial for my bedroom and being electric, it is quiet and lightweight. Nice appearance especially having a great light up dial. Readability is wonderful with the lighted dial. It is super easy to use and I like the smaller size that does not take up a lot of room on my dresser. I bought 2 one for my bedroom the other for my kitchen. Highly recommended!!

Better than batteries. This clock will glow all night, doesn't need sunlight to keep it glowing, and no need to fumble for a button to see the dial in the dark. The blue glow is very soft and will not disturb your sleep. Very easy to read across a room in daylight as well. Highly recommended.

I've just received the clock today and it seems to work fine. There are a couple things that I don't believe have been noted in other reviews. First is that there's a display dimmer thumbwheel on the bottom of the clock. Since it's never been mentioned and many have complained about the excessive display brightness, this must be a new addition. Second is that I noted on the packaging that this is a Quartz clock. Historically, these clocks have incorporated a synchronous AC motor, synced off the AC line frequency for their timekeeping. This is dead accurate since the 60hz electrical grid must be exactly 60hz at all times or there would be chaos on the grid. A quartz movement is pretty accurate but less so than the power grid frequency. It remains to be seen how accurate this clock is. Another thing to note. The instructions (see photo) say to set the time and alarm by turning the knob CLOCKWISE. However the arrow on both controls indicate that they should be turned COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. I followed the arrows and turned counter-clockwise which advanced the clock hands clockwise. Take your choice but know that after setting by turning counter-clockwise my clock still worked. After several months of use: Got this clock to let me know how long the power has been out (frequent short or long outages here). On two occasions the clock did not restart when power came back on. This makes it useless for my purposes thus downgrading to one star. I'm going to find an old-fashioned vintage motorized alarm clock elsewhere.

Great clock. Not bright, but you are able to see the time in the dark clearly. I really like how it has a plug-in for a wall socket.

It runs and keeps time. It gets 4 stars because it said it's a corded 110v clock. Actually is has a box on the plug that takes it down to a few volts like a phone charger, so the clock itself isn't really 110v. They don't tell you that in description so I thought that was a little deceptive. But it does work, so whatever. Very cheaply made, hence the price.

Worked fine right out of the box. Small and don't take up any room and I like that. Easy to set time easy to see/read, and I hope they last a long time. Bought 2 to replace my digitals as they have died and were a pain to set... so win win. Would like them even better if the blue light could be turned off. I cover the clock in the bedroom during sleep time . It is nice that the blue light has a dimmer and it works but ya would like to be able to turn it off... That being said these little clocks all be just fine

Wanted a replacement for this same clock (style and manufacturer) we had for about 20 years... Found this one that looks the same and is plug-in electric. Just what we wanted. It is very much like our old clock, but the clock face light has been changed from a mellow, white/yellow to a brilliant blue that is really hard to look at, even turned down to its lowest point. I'd rather have NO light than this eye-splitting blue. Frankly, the clock is turned away from view most of the night because it is so bright, distracting and uncomfortable to look at. Other than that, the clock works great.

It's not the historical analog, synched to the power company AC phase. It has a wall wart and runs off its DC. Alarm is beeps that become more insistant.
