I don't particularly like the smell but this is an effective product I use when going to countries that bugs are present. Certainly deters the insects from coming to me. The smell isn't really bad as if you like citronella, that's how you smell. Just personally I do not like it.

I brought two one for me in Thailand one for my friend in Uganda. The spray is extremely effective but far too strong in smell. It worked maybe too well for the safety of bugs but it did keep them away. Everyone in the room will be able to smell you. For that reason I stopped using it in Thailand and got their local one that smelt a lot nicer. Although it did need more applications

Works very well as long as you keep applying but a little oily and does not absorb into the skin.

I used when I went to Indonesia and I didn’t get any bites. Even when I went through the forests at night when mosquitoes were rife.

Smells really nice and you can really smell the lemongrass. I spray repellant on my bed sheets to repel mosquitos from biting my legs during the night in the summer months. Whilst using this, I did not get bitten so I can safely assume that it works. I like that it is a natural product and it was not chemically overpowering like those containing deet which is what I used to use.

Very oily but effective.
