Best casting rod I ever bought.
For me, 15' perfect. Moved to Puerto Rico. They think I'm nuts... But, I love casting, brings me great joy; hence, the further the cast out here in Guánica, the better! So far, so good with the rod!

Low-cost cost high-value surf rod.
This is an excellent surf rod for the price! It performs just as well right out of the box as some of the higher-end brands I’ve used. The rod is lightweight, sturdy, and feels built to last. It’s a bit stiffer than some of my other rods, but it still casts beautifully and delivers great distance and accuracy. We’ve already caught plenty of fish with it, and I can tell this will be one of my go-to rods for years to come. Highly recommend!

Snapped
Rod snapped in half while casting on initial outing. The rod is rated 3 - 8 oz, I was only using a 6 oz pyramid sinker. Really disappointed as I planned on using it all weekend.
