What is the material of this rustic lampshade?

It is more of a supple vinyl fabric. They come flat and the vinyl stretched safely to pop them out - just the right amount of sturdy. The outside resembles worn leather really well. I was happy with the material, seems like it will last against the heat from a light bulb. I've had my lamps for about a month.

Do they really look like the photo in the listing? No fabric bands around the top and bottom?

They do look like the photo. There is a small band at the top and bottom on the inside that barely shows, and doesn't show unless you look closely. I love these!
