Great value and ideal for PS5 upgrade
I bought this for my PS5, and it was very easy to install. I combined it with the Sabrent heatsink that replaces the bay door and it is working perfectly, playing PS4 and PS5 games with no discernible difference from the internal storage. It’s great to have almost 4x the storage, and means that everyone can have the games installed that they want without having to delete and reinstall regularly.

Fast PS5 friendly drive
Cheapest way to 2TB upgrade for PS5 at the time - prices have changed significantly since then.Quick and easy install, included "heat-spreader" is just about adequate, ps5 door-replacement heatsink if you want to cool it better.DRAMless drive, but wow it's quick! Performs better than most drives with DRAM, can saturate a full 4-lanes of gen4, benchmarking better than the usual suspects - quite a surprise. I'd recommend it for any system really, it's that good!PS5 performance doesn't get that high since it's usually internet limited, still quicker than most, and easily quick enough for gaming.
