Stylish watch
Love this watch!! Does everything I want and more, really nice face classic analogue look, yes the hands are black but you can see them and tell the time!

Good but could be better
A very good watch, however it could do with the hands being white, as black on a black background makes it hard to see the time which is its primary function. Watch strap not good, replaced with leather one, ideal size, menu function takes getting used to.

Disappointed 😞
I had high hopes for this watch but to be honest I'm very disappointed. The hands (which was the selling point for me)! Are practically invisible. The screen needs to be brighter or the hands a different colour and I've tried all the settings, the movement of the wrist is supposed to show you the other settings, steps, time, battery life etc but you have to wave your hand around aggressively to activate, the clock doesn't keep time, I've had to sync it numerous times. I would send it back for a refund but I changed the strap and can't be bothered to change it back. (Think I will give it one week to see if it gets better if not ask for an exchange or refund)

Would be nice with different coloured hands
I have the black version of this watch, and I would love it if I could actually see the hands, which are black. What kind of design decision was made to have black hands for an analogue watch that has a black watch face? Why not something that contrasts? Will return it shortly...

Do not buy.
After 1 year this watch had to have its hands re-aligned at least 3 times a day. hour hand would gain or lose an hour or two. known fault that Garmin refuse to fix.

Good and bad
Good looking watch for everyday use and light activity tracking. Battery life around 4 days without notification and auto syncing. After a few days of use, the watch got foggy when cycling or just being in the sun. It's an "expected behaviour" for Garmin and they wouldn't try try to fix the problem. Surprising when considering it's supposed to be waterproof for up to 50M..

Not worth the price.
The text is very small and the colour of the hands are same as the background. Difficult to read the time. The biggest problem is that you cannot download any watch faces like other smart watches. I have tried but none are compatible for the Vivomove Trend. Battery life is 3 days max. I think it is way overpriced. Due to the small size of the text and icons, difficult to function. It has basic features to be honest.

Great Hybrid Watch
The Garmin vivomove trend is a great combination of a analogue and digital watch. The standard display is a great, simple, clean looking watch. The digital screen is easy to see in all light conditions. The touch screen can be a little fickle at times but nothing that causes any frustration. Deciding what apps can send notifications to your watch is difficult to set up and change. The band is very comfortable and easy to wear without any discomfort or rubbing. It charges really quickly if you have a fast charging plug and the wireless charging is a great help to keep it topped up, although it does take longer to charge. The range of data on the watch is less than others, although being a hybrid watch, you don't want all that info on there. It can all be accessed within the app to get a better idea of things like sleep and activity trends. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a hybrid watch that still has the ability to be a solid smart watch but blends into the crowd of a standard analogue watch.

Stunning look for a real watch that does running recording well with Strava.
Other runners are actually surprised this watch can be used for running. Pros: - is a real watch, ie display time for real. (but doesn't do coffee) - works perfectly fine underwater, even with touchscreen. - fully charged can handle a Marathon in 4hrs and Triathlon. - The look is stunning with a metallic bracelet wrist band. - The no-gps mode works decently like 15% off, pretty impressive! - everybody has a garmin charging cable if you forget yours - The more I use the watch I younger I get. Cons: - I am still late to everything. - need a precise gps phone as it wiggles a bit. it's actually giving me better perf on Strava. With my chinese phone I even get flagged on Strava. - Garmin companion app feels like prehistoric - an open source replacement would be interesting. - I suspect it Leaks PII data all over the place (doesn't work without internet) but not to Google hopefully - firmware updates are fully transparent, as a concerned owner I would like to decide when to apply patches myself. - The whole notification is an annoyance so I've turned off ALL notification in watch + phone. - the watch doesn't record properly my Snowboard rides, neither does Strava. My friend with an expensive Garmin one does records it. I mean do you really to brag about your 70kmh snowboard sprint? - TBH I think they should put 1 plastic cover to protect the glass, it's been 6months mine peeled off and the glass is very strong. Biggest cons is that the hardware is a bit weak (which is also pro as price is reasonable and frugality is a lifestyle) and Garmin doesn't update this lineup very often. I think these days a oneplus watch might be a good replacement as an anti google product but still the price value is hard to beat. Yes if it's not on Strava it doesn't exist.

Very difficult to see the hands against black watch face
Watch is nice and comfortable, i use it for steps and heart rate only so it provides what i need. It looks good but the hands are very difficult to see unless in direct overhead light; they are too black against a black watch face.
