Fantastic book; thoughtful extensive educational. The many photos are very Good And the Layout of pages showing the clothes is also really great.

A brilliant book, purchased for my friend's daughter, who is easily bored. However this book has really piqued her interest, she's taken it to school and is really keen to learn more. I really struggled to part with the book, and would like a copy for myself.... I studied fashion history as part of a module on design and decorative art at uni, many years back, and this book is academic and factual whilst still engaging younger minds too. There are many illustrations, so it is visually exciting also. Thoroughly worth the money!

Excellent coverage, impressive and well-produced (large!) book, very good value. It gives a thorough insight into the development of clothing and fashion from the earliest times up to now, with some forays into the quirks along the way. Good for dipping into as well as reading to produce a continuous narrative.

If you want all the detailed per era for both men and women fashion cues then this is the book for you! Definitely recommend it

Very interesting. First time I ever read anything about fashion and I enjoyed it a lot. I found it very compelling to flick through and see the illustrations. I especially enjoyed learning about historical clothing.

An absolutely stunning book! It was larger than expected, fabulous quality and the most amazing book. My daughter was over the moon with it. The illustrations were really well done. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent book that provides a comprehensive history of fashion over the centuries, placing in its social and cultural context. Thousands of wonderful images with detailed descriptions and a very useful glossary at the end of the volume. A great resource for anyone interested in fashion and a wonderful coffee table book for everyone to browse (the fluoro lime green cover is a bit strong on the eye but I understand it is consistent with the editorial choice made by DK for their visual guides’ series). The book is also great value for money and was delivered in pristine conditions earlier than expected so happy on all fronts!

This is a course book for Costuming and the tons of photos are very helpful as they each have important descriptions. Highly recommend if you are into historical fashions

En principio el libro llego en excelentes condiciones, sin ningun golpe. Además el precio en que lo conseguí ha valido la pena. El contenido es de muy buena calidad, no solo en la información, sino en las imagenes, impresion, calidad del papel, etc. Sin duda un buen libro a considerar para todos los amantes de la moda.
