An absolutely fabulous product, like an epoxy resin hardener and resin, mix the two together in equal amounts, be very careful when applying the colour the absolute smallest pinprick of colour using the cocktail sticks supplied. Application is easy everything is included in the kit which is great to see. Excellent product well presented, save my life, after I broke a kitchen tile three days after completing the kitchen! Would recommend to anyone. PS: methylated spirit removes any overspills before it dries…

Why did you choose this product over others?: Bought this to repair a broken ceramic vase. Granted it's more complicated than a crack on a tile, so this review isn't about how well this suits such application. The reason for 4 stars is: Colour options. In the package, there are 4 small cans of colour paints. But it is very hard to make the colour that's needed by mixing them. I needed to have a slight magnolia colour and without any instructions on what colours to mix, it's impossible to get it right. It would be much more user friendly to have some basic colour mixing instructions. Apart from this, this is a solid product. I didn't use the included ice lolly stick for application, instead, I used a very small flat screw driver head to fill the cracks but by bit. It's a bit time consuming but the result was acceptable, except the colour though.

So far so good. Easy to mix but a little sticky to apply. Sands down well. I used it to repair a three centimeter long damaged area at the edge of my Motorhome shower tray (behind the cutain and above water level) and it seems to have worked well. It took two applications to fill it without sagging. Some people have said it discolours over time but so far it is a good match.

Most impressed. Good instructions and does exactly what I want on glazed and unglazed tiles.

Unfortunately as far as colour match to standard white acrylic sanitary ware goes it’s very poor, translucent and I would be very wary and test prior to application to the actual bath/tray. I still need to do the smoothing off but the actual damage can be seen through the applied product. If painting the whole tray it would be ok but then so would stuffing a piece of cheese in the hole..;) Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend on the colour match but it appears to do what it’s meant to and provide a water tight repair only time will tell on that one.

While fitting our new bathroom I dropped a tile on the new acrylic bath, putting a 4-5mm wide, 1mm deep dent in it. I ordered this kit but I didn’t want to make my first attempt on the new bath, so I found a hidden corner of the bath in our en-suite and made some gouges with a chisel to practise on like any sane person would do. The bath is white so I didn’t need to mix colours which worked in my favour. I followed the instructions, but I also bought a wet and dry sandpaper kit, going all the way up to 3000 grit, which is important if you want to get it back up to a high gloss. The rougher of the two sanding pads that came with this kit was too rough, I won’t use that when I come to do my real repair as it actually made some scratches that I had to buff out with the finer one before wet sanding with the separate sandpaper I bought. Another thing I learned from my practise run, if you have small pin holes like the 2 small ones I had here, you absolutely need to make them bigger before applying the filler. The filler won’t reach down into a small hole and bond properly, so I’d use a dremel with a cone shaped grinder to open it up a bit first next time. I’m a total beginner with this kind of thing but i asked my wife to try to find the scratches I’d repaired and it took her a good couple of minutes, even with my mistake with the pinholes. You can definitely get a good finish with this, at least on white acrylic and probably other surfaces too. Do the prep, and do it when you’ve got plenty of time.

This stuff was good but lost adhesion in the bath after a month or so. Likely to be user error but will try again. If your mixing to make a certain colour, good luck to you.

That is a really cool product. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures of the repairs I have done, but I am more than 100% happy with this product. Our sink got cracked due to a heavy glass object falling on it and it was already leaking and risking to break at that spot. I did not want to buy a new sink as I did not find exactly what I wanted, and deal with installing a new one, so decided to try and repair the old one. I did not think this material is so powerful. It did a wonderful job. Due to the color options available in the kit, you can also match colors incredibly well (I needed some shade of pink for my sink and managed to get the shade I wanted, by following the instructions). I recommend that you do color matching in the day light (not artificial light)

Includes everything you need, matching the colure is a art. It gets lighter as it dry's from my attempts, stil able to see the repair but it is much better. And way cheaper than replacing the entire tile. My area was just a smal repair after dropping a metal thing that created a crater, about 4-5mm.

I bought this repair kit to fix a few small imperfections left behind after a porcelain installation. The cuts weren’t huge, but they were noticeable enough to bother me, especially since everything else looked so clean and new. I wasn’t expecting perfection from a DIY kit, but I wanted something that would at least make the spots less obvious. What surprised me most was how well the color mixing worked. I took my time blending the colors, and I was able to get a really close match to the porcelain. Once it dried, the repaired areas blended in much better than I expected. From a normal standing distance, you honestly don’t notice the flaws unless you know exactly where to look. The process itself was pretty straightforward, though it does require a bit of patience. Mixing the colors and applying it carefully makes a big difference. One thing to keep in mind is that it’s best for small fixes. It’s not meant to repair large cracks or major damage, and the texture won’t be an exact factory finish if you inspect it closely. Overall, this kit did exactly what I needed it to do. Dries quickly and it less costly than purchasing and changing the damaged tile.
