I did a full bathroom remodel and was laboring over all of the things I needed to buy w/o being able to test or at least see them in person.. This Grohe showerhead is one of the grand slams off my list. An absolute must-buy and highly recommended. First thing you must do (sorry environment!) is remove the water regulator located in the gasket. Not the mesh water filter (!) but the plastic regulator. I believe it was blue. Just use a sharp-edged knife to pop it out. That was the magic trick that makes this puppy gush like a waterfall. Of course it may be different in your home but wow, this is it... Funnily enough there is so much pressure and so many nozzles on this head that it almost negates the need for the recessed rainshower (Grohe 27816001) I had installed. If you're on a tight budget I would not reccomend the rainshower as it's a complete luxury item and just go with this fixed shower head. The handheld Grohe 26467000 shower was another mightily impressive beast once you remove the regulator.. You can feel the instant tension in the water hose from the rushing water. It's heavenly but be sure you buy the 26467000 full metal version as there is a cheaper plastic version that looks similar but cheapens a nice shower. Because I wanted to operate all three shower heads (rainshower, handheld, fixed shower) I had to splurge and buy GROHE 29142000, the three way regulator. That too is very impressive and love the fact each head has it's own on/off button. Wifey appreciates the simplicity and of course the high-end look..

Not a good value, sad.
Extremely small, extremely expensive low pressure, hard to install, it leaked even after a proper install and to angel properly.

This product I ordered said metal and it’s plastic painted chrome and looks cheap . I returned it because for this price point I can get something a whole lot better .
