I still like them, just not what I expected
The metal on top is totally different then what is pictured on line. It is smooth and lacks the rustic hand forged look that attracted me to this lantern. I still like them, just not what I expected.

Great decoration for rustic house!
This was exactly as pictured and had no damages what so ever. The glass is held in place by those little swing holders they use on the back of picture frames though, but it's fine because I used mine as a chandelier in my stairwell so you can't see them. My luminara candle fits perfectly in the lantern. It comes with a glass holder to hold a candle inside the lantern but my luminara didn't fit into that so I just put it in there without and it looks perfect.

Love the look so much I made the hubby repair ...
I'm giving it two stars only because my hubby was able to repair them. They came apart the tops had separated and had to be reglued the wood would not tolerate any more nails or staples. One of the 4 I bought the base was cracked and had to be glued together. The glass candle holder in two of them had a knob on the bottom so they rock and won't sit flat. Love the look so much I made the hubby repair them. We wood glued everything for extra support and he really attached tops and broken bottom. If your not handy or know someone who is its risky.
