Don’t let the dusty appearance of the bag fool you, even though it looks like it’s been roughed up a bit. This school chalk is way too delicious!!! Pretty addictive, as the saying goes, no one can eat just one! It’s fresh looks just like a piece of white chalk.

This licorice was excellent. This comes in one inch size pieces that look and feel like small pieces of chalk, but are slightly hard shell coated chewy black licorice inside that is just the right amount of sweetness and wonderful anise flavor. I found this better than any other because the small size allows me to have a few and yet not too much, plus I love that it is neat and tidy, never feeling sticky. This was a gift to my husband who loves them so much, that he got it for Christmas, ate them all, and I surprised him with more for Valentines Day. Like ANY good thing, it was worth what it cost.

This licorice is amazing. It is rich in flavor and the mint coating blows your mind away. My friend and I are getting to be experts in Licorice. Icelandic Licorice is amazing because of the use of sea salt from Iceland. Even though this is not pure licorice the compliment of the mint adds to the flavor. My mother aged 98 loves this treat. 2.2 lbs is a lot of licorice. Ikea used to sell this in their Brooklyn store and they stopped. That is where I became addicted. This also makes a great present for your friends and family who like black Licorice..

Says it all. I ordered some other kind of licorice and it got swapped out for these. Didn’t like first one! Salty. But, not too sweet! Licorice was soft and mild, light mint but hard to pin down. I’ve been ripping thru a bag a week and get nervous when running low…yup! Addicted.

A family favorite!

Chalk licorice has a very distinctive taste. You either like it or you don't. I love the combination of crunch from the outer layer, with that burst of cool mint - followed by the chewy licorice filling. (I am one of those people who would choose black licorice over chocolate every time.)

The flavor is really good . The mint init helps make the licorice flavor stand out .I have to be careful though or I will eat the whole bag

I order far too often. They are very good and somewhat addictive.

These are very fresh and the expiration date is well over a year.
