Yes, you can get cheaper 512gb USB drives - but, IMHO, none are better value than this one:-(A). It's rather quick - on both USB A and C interfaces (assuming your PC supports USB Gen 3.2). CrystalDiskMark shows sequential reads and writes at up to ~500 mbps.(B). It's very well built with both end ports protected when not in use.(C). It's very convenient with both USB A and C interfaces. ie. It can be connected to a PC/laptop, a tablet or a mobile. That's great for data transfers.(D). It comes with a leatherette sheath for added protection and to facilitate attachment to a keyring or belt loop.It doesn't get too hot. I did a 300gb file transfer and, whilst the device got quite warm, the temperature never exceeded 50 degC (according to CrystalDiskInfo). That's reasonable and no need for concern.Although the device arrives already formatted (FAT32), I had to "initialise" it on my PC and assign a drive letter - using "Disk Management" in "Settings". This is normal with a new drive on Windows.For what you get, this device is very competitively priced. Same day delivery was also appreciated.As I said, I am rather chuffed 😀 😊

Well built, metal casing, has a bit of weight to it, feels like a lighter.Comes with a leatherette pouch.Working ok so far, seems to have the 1Tb capacity advertised. Speed good.

First, the product was well packaged. From the look and feel, it’s looks original. I have never used it yet but love everything about it. You know when you buy something and with the look of it, you realised you’ve made the right decision.Update: it works fantastic and the transfer speed is awesome. Great value for money. The size is exact possibly because I am using it on a Mac. Windows might be a bit different.

Bought as a scratch disk for Photoshop on an iMac; so far seems to do exactly what I need it to. 5 stars so far but only given 4 for now as it’s only been installed a week, so just being cautious!

This is very good and compact and easy to use like if you're making videos you can store your videos in here and it's easy instead of having a holding a bunch of stone cards and a massive high drive which I don't like using hard drives they take a lot of space and they're bulky but just having this this is very easy and compact and the quality of performance is really good. only issue is that it might heat up, but I had no problem with that so far what people said.

This is brilliant - lightning quick - was transfering music files couldn't believe how quick it was - it does heat up a bit as some buyers have mentioned - but no big deal- plug and play with my mac mini M4 - great buy !

Immensely disappointed by the product, and I should have researched reviews online more before buying.Looks great and externally nicely solid and looks well made, but it constantly disconnects from any USB part after any long transfers. Virtually useless and unfortunately I did not keep all the packaging as I have never had a USB stick fail like this before.Other USB devices and drives work fine in my PC and checked all the settings I could. An expensive paperweight.
