I bought this item with my own money, and this is an honest review of my experience with his item. I bought the green kettle, and it is not the bright limey color that shows. It is more of a Easter pastel green, very soft and appealing. But to be honest, LOL, I bought it for the price not for the color, although I do like the color. I was a leery of this item when I purchased it, but it was on sale for less that 16.00, and I needed a kettle that was stainless steel on the inside, had at least a 1 liter capacity, a large circumference top for getting water into it and for cleaning, a shut off feature when water comes to a boil, but light enough for me to pick up when full. This one checked all the boxes, so I purchased it. I bough this kettle on March 8, 2023. I have used this kettle not quite once or twice every single day, but close. I have seen no signs of rust. The plastic outer shell has not cracked or melted. I have had no problems with the cord or the plate it sits on. It shuts off when the water starts to boil. The top flips up nearly straight with plenty of room to get a hand inside the kettle to clean it, though if you have very large hands you might want to use a long handled brush for cleaning. There is a fill line inside on the stainless steel it is on the same side as the handle. When filled to the fill line it takes approximately 6 - 7 minutes to boil, depending on a lot of factors, such as water temp, environmental temp and etc. I usually turn it on, and do something else while it's heating up. The handle is nice and large for easy gripping. It may be suitable for those with arthritis because of the large handle with no sharp edges to dig into painful fingers. Depending on how much water placed in the kettle, it is lighter than some kettles if the same kind. If you fill it to the fill line it is still lighter than the majority of other electric kettles. The cord is not very long but you're moving only the kettle. not the base plate, it doesn't need to be very long. Do be sure not to leave it plugged in! In the instruction manual it tells you NOT to leave it plugged into the electrical socket because it isn't good for the kettle. I have followed that advise and so far I have had no problems. The on switch is in a great spot, at the top where the handle meets the main body of the kettle, so no tying yourself into knots to turn it on. It's a rocker switch so it takes only a light touch to turn it on. Again, great for those with arthritis. I have seen no signs of any of the things mentioned in previous negative reviews. This kettle so far has served me well. Make sure to register your item with the company on their website so you can take advantage of the warrantee that is longer than the return date on Amazon. So I have no complaints at all with this particular kettle. I give it 5 stars for: Function, form, ease of use, easy to clean, safety features, and weight when full.

Great kettle. Have used it almost daily for over six months and have had no problems. Easy to clean. Has auto shut off. Doesn’t take all that long to boil.

This is light green (salad colour) electric kettle. The construction is solid, it takes about 5-6 min to boil the entire kettle. It's quite, only at the very end you will know, it is boiling. The interior is steel, except of the cap, it's tick plastic. The switch and area around the switch can get hot immediately after boiling the water, so be cautios (keep your thumb to a side of the switch). The cord is sufficiently long and unusually thick, white colour. It matches well light green colour of the kettle. It keeps water hot for at least several hours (2-4 hours). The exterior does not get hot, just warm to the touch. There are marks on the inside - min, half and max. You will have to peek inside while filling it up. The cover opens us to a good degree, allowing comfortable fill up. Amazon prime screwed up the first delivery, it sent me an exception error - your order is damaged and will be returned. I ordered second time and next day I had both the new order and the old one delivered. It took a while to sort it out with their Indian customer service, they treat you like an idiot, who can only understand "I am commited to helping you out!"

Nice quality product at a really great price. A minor detail to note, this kettle takes a few minutes longer to reach a boil than some of the other products I researched and available on Amazon, for twice the money. However, it is very quick and much more efficient than a standard kettle for the stove top. If you enjoy tea it's a nice necessity to own. Easy to clean and handle with an ergonomic design. Safety features include locking attached flip top lid and plastic exterior that only gets slightly warm, also heat protection from accidental burns. Interior is stainless steel. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product. The green color that I ordered is a really pretty buttery minty green pastel ( like those tiny mints yah Nana had in a candy dish on her kitchen counter when you were a kid, After Dinner Mints I believe was the name of them ) I was hesitant to buy this color because it looked from my monitor to be more of an intense avocado green ( which is nice shade of green if that is what your looking for), I was not but decided to order it anyway because I wanted a green kettle. Turns out to be even better than expected. It's funny how some things in life just work out! It truly is the small things in life! Now go buy this kettle for yourself , make yourself a nice cup of tea and reread your favorite Judy Bloom book from the 5th grade and tell everyone to scram! You're Welcome!

Works like a champ, makes the water very hot very quickly. I often don't let it get to auto shut off because the water is too hot for my preference at that point. It's incredibly easy to clean, I do wish the top hole was a little wider for cleaning purposes. I read a lot of the reviews before my purchase, and in my experience it doesn't discolor except for the typical build up from our hard water. A little vinegar regularly clears it right up. Another review I saw mentioned the steam escaping from the on/off switch. The switch is close to the lid hinge and a few times I almost burned my thumb because I had my thumb over the hinge seam when I pouring the water. I would expect steam to escape from there and I no longer hold the kettle that way and no more issues. I think perhaps that maybe to others it seemed to come from the switch but it was actually the lid hinge. My only complaint is the cord. It's white and doesn't match the kettle and is very heavy duty and stiff. It makes it a little hard to neatly wrap the cord and stow it away, but I love the kettle anyhow and would recommend it to anyone looking for one.

The biggest complaint on this kettle is the cord is on the short side, I wish that it is a little longer so will have the ability to place it further away from the wall. The light inside the on/off switch isn't quite obvious, sometimes I just had to walk closer to check if the water is done yet. The kettle is working as expected, it doesn't heat up your water in amazing speed, it is just in a reasonable amount of time. The water tastes like normal water, no weird smell of taste in it. Didn't have this for very long time yet, I am hoping it will last for a good period of time. If anything changed, I will for sure come back to have my review updated.

I wrote a great review for this kettle after I had used it a few months. Did it too early, this kettle quit working a little over 6 months after buying. that changed the review from 5 stars to 1 star. Heats up faster than the one it replaced, clicks off fast once it is boiling, keeps water hot longer than the one it replaced, looks good on the shelf. All good, no bad for 6 months then it stopped working,

The double wall does ensure that you wont burn yourself if you accidentally brush against it. Auto shut off. If you over fill it water comes out the botton, and the base is very light.

El color es muy bonito. Yo adquiri la verde. Pensé que sería un color muy cítrico pero no, fue mejor, su color es más tenue, pero no es pálido, más tipo "Pistache". Luce fantástica en mi cocina y además, es de excelente calidad. Toda ella me encanto!!! ♡
