The caftan is even prettier in person. The design is elegant and the fabric is comfortable. The fit is true to size.

The fabric is lovely. The black was jet black and perfect, and the workmanship was great. BUT.... Rather than seam the sides with a traditional seam, and then trim the excess fabric away, this is a solid UNCUT width of fabric. In my 4X, there was 2.5 inches worth of extra fabric on the front, and 2.5 inches of fabric on the back --or 5 inches on each side, or 10 inches over all worth of excess bulk that I could have done without. Presumably, if I had ordered a 6X, there would only be one seam at the very edge. If you are a curvy gal, search the photos until you can find the dress in a light color and take a hard look at the way it is constructed--and then decide if you will be comfortable with the bat wing effect that all this extra fabric at the seams creates. All that extra fabric was not flattering on my figure and I am sending it back. Otherwise, it was lovely.

This is a wonderful dress. It is a little to long for my liking so I pulled it up put a belt on right below my bra line and bloused it over the belt until it was at the desired length. Made for the Cutest little black dress. I also have it in blue and love it. These are easily dressed up or down and can be worn for so many occasions.

I liked the color. The material was adequate. There were a few dangling threads at the hem. I am 5' 2" tall, and the caftan was too long for me. So I gave it to my daughter who is 5' 6" tall. It was perfect for her. The seams on both sides of the caftan were about 2 inches wide. So my daughter had to take them out. She sewed the sides together which gave her an extra 4 inches. It fit perfectly. If the product had been shorter, I would have rated it 4.5 stars. I did not like the hanging threads at the hem. ALSO, the caftan is one long piece of material sewn at the sides with fringes at the edges. To modify the caftan to fit me would have cost too much. I chose to give it to my daughter. I will buy another caftan and make sure I check the length of the garment.

Ok I am short and wide, 5’3”, 40D, 180 lbs... and this dress In XL is freakin’ perfect for people like me. The fringe hits right at the ankle, it’s roomy but not sloppy, great color, comfortable. I immediately ordered another one. I may just get every color.😆🤘

Purchased for vacation and had high hopes for a soft and flattering beach cover-up, but I am returning this very unflattering product. Honestly, it has no shape whatsoever and looks like I cut a hole in a white bed sheet and threw it on. It probably took someone a whole five minutes to sew a few seams and make this. Even if it had style, it would have been useless as a travel item due to the wrinkles in the fabric. It arrived very wrinkled and I could tell these were not wrinkles that would have simply fallen out. Putting it into a suitcase, you'd have to iron it once you arrived at your destination, and I'm certainly not going to iron a beach cover-up. The material is very soft, so if you're just going to wear it around the house and don't care what you look like, it may be an OK buy for you.

Typically a 2X caftan fits me loosely (very loosely). This (March of 2020) would have fit a size 16 or 18 in the same manner. So extremely small. I can get INTO it but snug and not comfy at all. The color and fabric is nice although the fabric wrinkles easily (some rayon does not). I did not return this because of the virus issues but if you are ordering close to this time like I suggest ordering larger than you would normally. Anyone who shops Amazon clothes a lot understands that reviews outside the current time period often mean nothing :D. Good luck.

Or ordered 2 of these, black and blue. The fabric is luxurious and the colors are true. I have purchased several Kaftans on amazon and these are the absolute finest you can buy. I'd love one in every color if I could.

I returned this, but not because there were any faults. It's made of soft, lovely fabric and was so comfortable! But I could only get it in a size that turned out to be too large. Kudos to the makers for not skimping!! This would be very nice made in prints...I felt there was so much plain fabric that it would get marked in no time and any small marks would show very plainly, and also it's just a lot of fabric in the plain colour. Prints would be more flattering. Great caftan, bring on the prints!

Absolutely LOVE this! I thought it would be great for sundowner time after a long day at the beach (I am going on vacation in October) so I ordered it on Friday and it was in my mailbox on Monday!! Perfect summer vacation elegance or anytime! Absolutely beautiful quality, colour, everything! I ordered up a size as recommended in another review but will order many more to see if my customary size fits as well. 100% satisfaction with this gorgeous product in every way!! I love these caftans. Cool and loose and very soft and comfortable. Washed numerous times and dried in the dryer with no shrinkage. Love them.
