Works perfectly
My Dewalt DCD710 is brand new again thanks to this. It was a total pain to install, but that wasn't the motor's fault. Beware, the motor does need to be installed at the right rotation. When you get the old one out, spin the new motor in the plastic enclosure until you get it aligned. Also, be careful to keep everything forward of the motor tilted down so all of the gears stay inside. I spilled the gears and had to re-install the 6 planetary gears with tweezers several times during re-assembly.

This motor drops right in the DCD710 drill.
This Dewalt DCD710 drill is my favorite of all the drills I own. It is light weight and easy to use. Yesterday while working in my shop the drill died and would not spin. I once raced RC cars and thought maybe I could clean and true the commutator and replace the brushes so I took the motor apart. After disassembly I realized it would be better to replace the motor. I ordered the motor yesterday after I tore the drill apart and Amazon delivered today. It drops right in the place of the old, tired, worn out motor. Took less than 15minutes to reassemble the drill. Most difficult part was getting 1-2 speed shifter button back into position. The picture is the old brush holder and motor.

Direct Replacement for specific DeWalt 12V drills.
The motor on my handy 12V DeWalt drill burned out after many years of intense use. Popped this little guy into the drill and away it went. Nice to have a part like this so readily available. Fit perfectly. Installation was easy -- good to watch the YouTube videos first.

Super Erasatzmotor für DCD710
Nachdem mein DCD710 10 Jahren und einen Hausbau auf dem Buchel hatte und beim Schrauben Rauchzeichen gab, stand ich vor der Wahl entsorgen oder reparieren. Bei knapp 28 Euro Kosten für einen Ersatzmotor war die Sache schnell klar. Akkuschrauber aufgeschraubt alter Motor raus, diesen hier bestellt, eingebaut und schon läuft der DeWalt wieder wie am ersten Tag. Auf dem Original stand allerdigs VD und der gelieferte ist mit VC gelabelt. Funktioniert aber tadellos.

Gratifying to be able to a broken drill and get it working again.
