How waterproof is this motorcycle cover?

It's waterproof material and so far I haven't noticed my seat getting wet, it works great!

Anyone have problems with this material scratching paint?

I found the cover to work well and I didn't see any scratches.

Is it possible to install it while the exhaust is still hot?
