This is a great rain gauge. Really easy to read from a distance and set up is simple. It has not been “tested” for freezing temperatures because I try to dump the water out if a freeze is predicted. But this gauge is great and pride is good. I will buy another and highly recommend it.

A previously ordered this the same item and it was guaranteed not to freeze or burst, and it did. It burst in the snow/ice storm. Other than that, it was fine. I did not see where you could just order the gauge itself. I had to order the whole frame and everything.

Had plastic and the floating disk will help to see the waterline. Excellent product.

Instructions say freezing can break it. Easy to read. Fit right into old holder; which had also broken from freezing.

I love this rain gauge! It's the first one I've owned that had a red float in it to show what the water level is. That plus the large numbers make it possible to see how much rain we've had from several feet away.

Made well -- so far very durable. Should not freeze and break in cold weather since made of plastic

Works as advertised easy to read

It’s a nice rain gauge, but it is not freeze proof. Be sure to empty your gauge frequently or bring it inside during freezing weather. This is a replacement for the one that I let freeze and fracture.

It is quite a big unit, but it holds a lot of rain and is very easy to see when it has rained from a distance away!

Robust and good size for young forecaster

This was the wrong product not suitable for Australia, it read inches instead of millilitres. Tried to return it but was too difficult to understand the instructions due to accent so am stuck with it

This is a nice rain gauge. I like that the numbers are big and it has a blue strip behind so you can see it better. The shape is nice as well.
