Nearly all my heavy use tools are Makita which means I go through batteries like crazy, I needed an extra battery that wasn’t as heavy as the 18v and this worked perfectly.

You need this for your bare 12v Makita tools
Works great and battery life is decent for the petite 12v Makita. I already have a decent collection of 18v Makita tools and batteries to go with them, but some are a bit too heavy and clunky for a senior lady to work with over an extended period of time ... so, I decided to collect some of the smaller 12v Makita tools, which are easier to handle and this is the charger and battery you need for them.
