Thick, Glossy Paper. Pretty Prints & Colors. They Don’t Stay Open. Hanging Strings Attached.
I ordered the style “Maple” to hang from my ceiling during the fall season and to complement my other seasonal décor. There are three sizes, small, medium and large, and I got one of each of the three colors in each of these sizes for a total of nine leaves. They’re pressed shut, accordion-style, and they look very lovely and festive as you pull them open. The problem is that there’s nothing included to help hold them open, so they just shut back up on their own. I’m going to have to experiment with whatever ideas I can come up with to hold them open, but based on the fact that they don’t open up all the way so that their ends meet, glue and tape are out of the question. If the step-by-step instructions on the product page are attempting to explain how to keep them open, then I guess I’m just not getting it, because I don’t really see much happening there. These are made out of a thick, glossy paper, so they feel rather durable for a paper decoration, which means I’ll be able to reuse them year after year. The color selections are appropriate for fall leaves, and they even have some pretty speckling on them that prevents them from looking overly plain. I like that a lot. To hang them, each has some soft, white string tied to the bottom to form a large loop. They’re definitely festive, so I look forward to figuring them out and getting them hung up this upcoming fall season.

lovely assortment of neutrals
These paper fans add an elegant touch to my tropical themed backdrop. Added in with some green tones and gold, they give a perfect Boho yet classy feel. Can't wait to get it completely assembled with tropical flowers for my event!
