HIGH QUALITY. This is the best faux candle I’ve gotten from Amazon!! It sheds a golden, flickering light, the plastic is nice and thick and the wick looks great. There’s no remote. There’s one simple on/off switch. When it’s on the “on” button, it stays on for 6 hours; then goes off for 18. It repeats every day. The switch is underneath the plastic screw in cover so with no remote, it’s cumbersome. It takes 3 D batteries. So I don’t want to run the juice out with the timer. I just leave the cover off for summer since it rarely rains here and turn it on when I need it. Since it’s oversized, it looks high-end. Putting a dinky, cheap-looking candle in a big lantern doesn't look good. But this look is AWESOME!!

The candle is exactly as described and exactly what I wanted. I am so pleased. It is a statement piece in my Gazebo.

Great candle!! Nice a bright and working great so far. Using outdoors inna large open lantern. Hopefully it performs well though the weather!

I'm revising my original review (paragraph below). These candles only lasted 2 months before they both got so dim so you could barely see them, then the one started flickering. They were used indoors the whole time. Almost $60 down the drain because, of course, they crapped out after the return window had closed. Just a cheaply-made product I guess. I hate to spend the money on Luminara brand candles, but sometimes the "you get what you pay for" philosophy" is definitely true. Original Review: The candles themselves are fine and look pretty good from a distance, but they eat batteries. They started getting dimmer within 2-3 weeks after putting brand new Energizer max batteries in and they were almost completely dead after a month or so. I’m going to try a battery eliminator kit because otherwise I’ll be spending $75+ a year on batteries for 2 of these candles.

This candle is HUGE!! Its perfect for my large lantern. Led light bulb doesnt eat up batteries. Remote/Timer is 6 hours which is perfect lit up for night time in my porch. The feel is of a real candle and the color is a warm cream/white. I would recommend to friends and family. They are very pretty candles for christmas or any time of year decor.

Schaltet immer zur gleichen Zeit, wie beschrieben, ein. Und nach 6Stunden wieder aus. Die Kerze sieht schön aus und flackert natürlich. Eingelgt werden drei Mono-Zellen a 1,5V die sicherlich länger halten. Ich bin zufrieden mit der Kunstoffkerze, die auch bei starker Sonneneinstrahlung nich schmilzt wie eine Wachskerze. Nur der Preis ist, finde ich, zu hoch.

Diese Outdoor-LED-Kerze ist wirklich der Wahnsinn. Ich liebe LED-Kerzen, die sich dank Timerfunktion abends automatisch einschalten und sofort eine gemütliche Atmosphäre schaffen, wenn man nach Hause kommt. Besonders gefällt mir, dass diese Kerze nicht aus Echtwachs besteht. Dadurch schmilzt sie auch bei starker Sonneneinstrahlung nicht und ist perfekt für den Außenbereich geeignet. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die lange Batterielaufzeit. Durch die großen Batterien leuchtet die Kerze nicht nur angenehm hell, sondern hält – je nach Batterien – problemlos bis zu einem halben Jahr durch. Solch eine lange Laufzeit findet man bei vielen anderen LED-Kerzen nicht. Ich bin so begeistert, dass ich sie mir direkt ein zweites Mal gekauft habe. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Sehr schöne Kerze

Um diesen Preis so ein billiges Teil zu verkaufen ist wirklich mutig. Billigstes Plastik, der einzige Knopf, bleibt nur bei on und off stehen, bei Timer rastet er gar nicht erst ein. Die Batterien kann man nicht einlegen, weil sich die Feder verbiegt und die Batterien wieder rausschleudert. Ich bin von der Qualität entsetzt. Geht sofort wieder zurück. Ich kann mir nicht erklären, wo die positiven Rezensionen herkommen.

Ich habe jetzt bereits 3 Stück davon. 2 große und eine kleine. Optisch sind sie wohl nicht so toll leuchten dafür aber sehr hell. Die Batterien halten bei der Timer-Funktion echt mehrere Monate. In einer Laterne kann man sie auch innen aufstellen. Durch ihre Bauform und dem verschließbarem Boden sind sie auch für draußen geeignet. Die erste habe ich vor über einem Jahr gekauft und funktioniert noch genau so gut wie die beiden anderen. Der Preis ist doch etwas hoch. Wer aber eine helle große Kerze sucht, dem kann ich sie empfehlen. Vielleicht zu sagen wäre noch das sie aus Kunststoff und nicht aus Wachs ist. Ist halt für draußen.
