If you have moderate to shower oily skin, this is for you! I have super oily skin in my tzone and moderate every where else in my face. This keeps my skin matte and protected. It feels super silky and is easy to apply without a mirror because it leaves no white cast on my tan skin. I'm on subscription for this item to make sure I never run out.

At the beginning I was worried because it is advertised that it has SPF50, but nowhere in the package or the product says that, so I had to investigate the ingredients and found out that some of them provide UV protection so that gave me some more reassurance (please note I am not a doctor of any kind, that was a general search I did to find out if it actually has those properties). I like how the product is very practical, small and can be carried anywhere without consuming any space or adding any weight. I have a 4-step skincare routine (5 if you count the sunscreen, which is the last step), and I have found out that if I apply this one as 5th step gives a weird pasty effect and not matte at all (could be because of the combination of products I use, but then again the SPF lotion I regularly use, doesn’t do that unless I am accidentally using way too much product), but if I use it as a SPF-retouch through the day, then it does give that matte look and invisible finish in the skin. I would recommend considering the purchase if you are looking for something to do quick SPF retouching throughout the day, but if considering as part of the regular skincare routine then I would recommend getting a regular creme/lotion-like one instead.

Lightweight and easy to carry. It helps with oil, though the effect doesn’t last all day.

This product is great! Gives you a nice shimmer on your skin to avoid showing any grease residue on your face or bald head in my case.. highly recommended

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Still dealing with the pimples from this, I dont usually get acne on my cheek area but broke out right after applying this. My guess is that something in the sun stick clogged my pores. It's also such a dry feeling when you put it to your skin, and it doesn't even do the best job of making the skin matte. Also, there is no indication the product is SPF on the actual product even though it's advertised like that, kind of weird.

I heard that we should apply sunscreen every 2-3 hours and it was difficult to reapply cream with dirty hands and face. However, after meeting this sun stick, it was so comfortable to apply sunscreen again without any tools. Just open it and apply it to my face and legs. It was so easy and comfortable to keep my skin from the hot sunlight. Also, it was not oily at all so the texture of this sun stick was refreshing and light after applying it a few times. I would purchase it again.

This product honestly didn’t feel like it would do much at first. I’m an oily girl and after I would wash my face at night and moisturize, I would wake up oily faced and yucky feeling. But I started adding this as my last step in my night time regimen and I was completely amazed! No more overactive oil production on my face! So i still was and moisturize but i also go over my face with this oil stick. My skepticism is long gone.
