GREAT LIMITED INGREDIENT CAT FOOD!
The ER vet recommended Applaws when one of my boys became blocked due to struvite crystals. All 16 of my furbabies eat this food, and they absolutely love it — it comes in so many great flavors. He’s been on it for 4 years now and has done wonderfully. I feed this in addition to Applaws dry cat food to provide a complete, balanced meal. It’s also much more affordable than prescription brand foods while still offering high-quality ingredients — no by-products, gluten, corn or wheat. Also, no magnesium, calcium, or phosphorus, which is especially important for my boy with struvite crystals. Most prescription urinary foods have terrible ingredients, but that’s not the case with Applaws. This brand is truly different, and I trust it completely. Highly recommend!

Healthy Supplement , to add to your cats diet and for dogs too.
This is chicken, it is real ,not processed . I add this to my cats and my dogs food. When I want to give my dog extra protein I will add this, my cats will eat this too. It is healthy smells like chicken the texture is chicken breast meat. Plus my dog only eats the white meat and she loves it. It must taste great because my cats are picky . A little expensive yes. It is great quality cat food. And good for dogs too.

Excellent topper for picky cats
Both our picky young Siberians love Applaws, and we love that it only contains 4 ingredients. With Dr. E’s dry cleanprotein dry food + a scoop of bone broth powder in warm water, the pumpkin + chicken Applaws makes for a great texture/taste enhancer & source of dietary moisture. The pumpkin variety really helps to balance their digestion, too (no bum-fur poo-residue seen since we introduced it!). Cat parents might be interested in Applaws for one or more of the following reasons: For those of us unwilling to sacrifice the nutritional benefits of quality wet food in spite of the often prohibitively-high price tag for your picky fur-child(ren): 1. Combine some healthy, nutritionally-complete dry food with warm potable water 2. Purée in blender 2. Stir in Applaws for picky-kitty palatability (before blending if they prefer pate, after if they like shreds, or skip blending altogether if they don’t care) For those of us hoping to calm fur-child(ren)’s upset stomach: 1. Obviously check with the vet first to rule out other GI issues 2. Feed only chicken + pumpkin Applaws (pumpkin helps balance digestion) for no more than 2 days 3. Gradually reintroduce nutritionally-complete wet or dry food over the next 2 days Bonus: continue feeding chicken + pumpkin Applaws in combination with complete food to maintain healthy digestion & ensure kitty gets enough nutrients PLEASE NOTE: - Applaws is a meal compliment, aka it doesn’t contain enough nutrients or calories on its own; be sure to alternate or mix with AAFCO-certified “complete” cat food for a nutritionally balanced diet :) - Dietary moisture and access to clean drinking water are both necessary for a cat’s kidney & urinary health. Any dry food should be with wet food, wet meal compliments such as Applaws, and/or water/pet-specific broth. Hydro-homies! - The four simple ingredients include: chicken, chicken broth, pumpkin, and rice. Unless your kitty’s vet has told you otherwise or you’re aware of an allergy, the 1% rice content is negligible. Bon a petit! =^•^=

Our 4 indoor cats absolutely love "most" of the applaws offerings!
We have 4 highly spoiled indoor cats that we adopted over the years (all were formerly feral cats). And yes, we've spoiled them with various food choices. As a result, finding a food they'll like and devour was rare - that is, up until we discovered the Applaws brand of canned cat food. Yes, the Applaws brand will cost you a bit more, but the quality of the food is such that our cats just devour everything I lay out for them. The first thing you'll notice with any of the Applaws tuna and fish offerings is the texture and appearance of the food. It looks like the tuna for humans. And there are no artificial ingredients or fillers at all. Our cats love all the tuna mix offerings (tuna and crab, tuna and shrimp, tuna and salmon, etc), and I wind up ordering two cases per month (yes, I know, it can add up cost-wise). This way I'm assured that they'll eat everything I lay out for them. Now it is essential that you supplement with this wet Applaws cat food with dry food. And why, you may ask? Because the canned food has no added ingredients like taurine, protein, or any of the other myriad additions of fillers, etc. So the dry food will give you all the extra nutrients. So you can't go wrong here, although I realize that trying to review and recommend cat food is quite subjective, in that no two cats will have the same tastes. By the way, there's another cat food brand - Reveal - that makes exactly the same offerings as the Applaws brand (I believe they are the same company), but they are a few dollars less expensive. You may want to check them out also. So highly recommended!

Almost perfect for my allergic-to-everything cat
So, my cat is allergic to chicken, wheat, eggs, and milk, so as you can imagine, finding food she can eat is a hassle. Even when you do, sometimes the cans are tainted with chicken, and she'll get a big puffy lip, but not with this food. She loves it, she's a big fish girl, and canned tuna is her favorite. She licks the plate clean every time. The only complaint I have is that it's not really a "complete" cat food. You need to feed your cat another type of food with all the vitamins added in for them to be healthy, whether that's wet or dry. This really is just four ingredients, like tuna, broth, and whatever; there's no extra additives for vitamins, which I guess is alright if that's what you want, but my cat eats 90% wet food, so I need to buy her something else too. So -1 star for that. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the quality control and she loves it. 4/5

I have tried many brands of canned food after arriving to Canada with two Ragdoll cats. They don’t like almost everything. This one is an exception that I’m happy I found. Not everything of this brand my cats eat too. They are very picky for some reason. This particular taste is the only canned food they like.

Product gummy and stuck together. It was either old or had been left in the sun for a period of time. Was not useable .

This is the best brand of soft cat food I have been able to find. It is not carried in the pet stores in my area. The pricing is in line with what it costs off the shelf in the stores that do carry it. I ordered and received it within a week which I thought was a very quick shipping. This is only soft cat food my cats are interested in and the only soft food that I have seen that actually looks like the meat type it is. My cats actually prefer it over me baking them a chicken (yes- I tried)
