Does exactly what it is supposed to do! Well made sturdy metal.

The build quality of this is very sturdy and the design itself is very simple. It looks so simple and plain, but when you put it on a bowl, the silicone grip and the long handle just gives you so much confidence ! I used one of those OXO egg white separators that had a cute chick design, but always encountered issues of the egg whites separating smoothly. I also used to just crack the egg in half, and juggle between the two egg shells to separate the whites but I always felt like I was missing extra whites, which means I was leaving protein behind lol This simple tool really blew me away when I first cracked an egg and poured it on top of this separator. Thanks to its spiral stainless steel design, the yolk just seamlessly floats on top while all the egg whites come spiraling down quickly. Sometimes eggs can be on the thicker side, but because of the spiral design, I can pick it up with the handle and give it a swirl, and the egg whites come running down, leaving nothing but yellow behind. 5 Stars for doing exactly what it intends to do and actually be hassle free, plus its easy to clean.

A very long time ago, I bought a plastic egg separator that didn't work very well. So, I just practiced over the years to just separate a yolk using the actual eggshells. I do more cooking and baking now that I have the time. I could use this Ytuomzi Stainless Steel Egg Separator for the convenience. I liked the option of placing it onto a measuring cup or bowl, depending upon the steps in a recipe. The 6" handle feels like it's covered in plastic, not silicone, but it is easy to grip and handwash. I recorded my video and found that this egg separator is not foolproof! The white just would not come loose from the yolk. Perhaps, it was the egg? Today is 8-12-23, and the egg carton is dated 9-4-23. Does that mean it is still a fresh egg or too old or what? I watched my video and surmised that if I held the separator higher, gravity might have pulled the egg white through it faster, but no other Reviewers had to do this! As it was, I did eventually rub the bottom of the egg separator along the edge of my measuring cup, which helped make the rest of the white drip free. I guess even using this egg separator takes some practice, too.

Simple and easy to use. Didn’t want to pay a ton for an egg separator and was ify about this one. But it was worth it and work just as good and expensive ones.

This is heavy duty & works well. Nothing can compare to stainless steel. The value is superb. Having the hook on the end is vital to be able to rest on your bowl. Would definitely purchase this again.

This product does exactly what it’s supposed to do aiding the separation of the yolk from the whites. It’s sped up the process for me and made it very simple.

We like this egg separator as we know how hard it sometimes is to do. The works well, there isn’t any yolk breakage and due to the design the whites slip through while cradling the yolk in place. Considering how many recipes I make which call for either yolks or whites this item is the best value for your money.
