Nice images from all over the world
Good quality puzzle just right for 4-5 year olds. Grandson loves the graphics and likes maps so a great option. Fun for him as he comes over and requests to put it together, which he has done a few times now.

Great childrenโs puzzle
Love this puzzle it was a great educational activity for my pre-school age children. They enjoyed learning; we glued it and hung it on the wall for daily reference when they finished. The puzzle pieces were the perfect size for ages 4 & 5 to assemble & the reference picture made it easy for them to follow.

Walruses in Antarctica?
Love the color and the illustrations! Our family enjoys map puzzles, so even though my kids are past the age of floor puzzles, we were excited to buy this one. Sturdy pieces, quality lamination, and bright printing. Africa gets to take center stage on this circular geography puzzle. It is nice to see architecture illustrated on the map - even Brandenburg Gate, Hagia Sophia, Cristo Redento, and a yurt in Mongolia. Animals and plants add to the fun - love the flying fish!. There are Japanese cherry trees and a Canadian maple leaf. China has the old green train, Nigeria has drums, Germany has pretzels, and Brazil has soccer. Only major countries are labeled, though in some cases, like the Philippines, there is room that the label could have been printed. Of course with any map puzzle there are going to be difference of opinion on which items should be included or excluded. While raccoons are native to North America, my family thought bison may have been a better icon (maybe to replace that palm tree in Kansas!). Whether or not they are the best items to include, it was nice to see so many plants, animals, transportation icons, and architectural buildings. There are a few corrections that should be made: 1) Walrus do not live in Antarctica. The narwhal should not be near West Africa. 2) Igloos were constructed in North America, not Antarctica, and not Greenland either. 3) There should not be palm trees in Kansas, North Dakota, the Hudson Bay, and Greenland! 4) Remove the turkey bird with pilgrim hat from the country of Turkiye! Turkeys are native to North America. (Maybe put an oud instrument, Cappadoccia pillars, or hot air balloon for Turkiye instead) 5) Poor New Zealand - they have been chopped off the map altogether. In fact the only hint at any Pacific isles is the label "Oceania". No Samoa, no Tonga, no Fiji, no Hawaii - Not even a volcano. 6) Pirate ship off the west coast of North America should be changed to something more representative of the shipping that goes through those waters. (How do pirate themes make it into kids toys anyway? Deplorable crime! And just to be accurate, most piracy occurs near the Red Sea/Gulf of Aden, off the coast of Nigeria, and near Indonesia & Singapore. The only piracy problem area in the Pacific is off the coast of Peru) * Another reviewer had mentioned that the Southern Ocean was printed as "Souther Ocean". This typo was corrected on the map that I received, so it sounds like the manufacturer is listening to the reviews - Thank you! All in all, this was a fun puzzle to put together, and we enjoyed poring over the charming illustrations.

As this was a gift for my grandchild who lives elsewhere, I cannot make a valid review of the educational value of this item other than 'she liked it'.
