This water barrier and grille channel fits my Model Y perfectly and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It keeps water and debris out of the frunk area and gives everything a cleaner, more protected look. Installation was quick and the material feels solid and durable. Great upgrade for any Model Y owner!

The adhesive is not strong enough. I had to buy extra to make it work. Just didn’t have time to return so I just made it work by buying more double sided tape

This went in really easy, and has been working fine. We've had rain, and I've checked the area right after and didn't see puddling or other signs of water pooling in the area, so hopefully my cabin filters will hold up better and not have that smell.

Had it installed a few months, it does seal out some noise and keep the bottom door area clean. But lately the rubber has leave some residues on the area where it touches. I hope the strip won’t dry off and became harden over time. I did add another type of strip purchased separately to complete the installation to my like . Over all I am happy with the kit but just not sure how they hold up over time

First I want to thank the others who posted about the poor adhesive quality. This is my install: 1. Replaced all adhesives with 3M thin double sided automotive tape cutouts, including to the two surfaces on the middle section with missing tape. To avoid frustration, prying 3M red protective film with the back edge of a #15 scalpel really helps. 2. Alcohol wiped area after removing old splash guards. 3. Inserted the right and left tabs only by their lateral clips, medial ends hanging in the air. 4. Inserted middle piece into the other two hanging by the tabs. 5. Pushed right end piece middle tab in but not completely, did same on left side, then pushed them in completely once center aligned. 6. Threaded the rubber edge pushing periodically in the right side to allow more to pull through, a 15-20 step process as rubber sticks. Wearing rubber gloves helps a lot also. The AC stench may be due to water constantly flowing onto the filters, as you can see this product does great shielding the air intake, photo was taken right after a car wash.

I recently purchased and installed this product for my Model Y, and so far, it seems to create a good seal, and snug fit that promises enhanced protection. While the assembly and installation may require some patience, the end result seems promising. I'll be monitoring its performance over time and will update my review accordingly. If you're willing to invest a bit of time during installation, this product could be a worthwhile addition to your vehicle.

It was not a snap on precision fit like in the video, it was sort of on there but when you go to close the hood they would move out of place. This happened on both sides. Maybe what I recieved was defective. I have a Model 7 2023.

The kit itself was great and a great value for the money. They could have provided more of the little adhesion primer wipes, I think I only had six and there's eight things that you install. It only give you basically a one sheet instruction which is very generic, there is not even like a link to a video or anything. So figuring out exactly where to place them on each door is a little tricky. I figured out on the doors that the piece that goes along the bottom edge of the door needs to hang down like a quarter of an inch lower that the door edge to really get a decent seal. But they stick really well so once you place them you're not going to pull them back off and move them. It's hard to say how much noise reduction it has I didn't do any like testing but it seems quieter but that may be just placebo effect.

Perfect Fit, TMY 2024 Do not use only the small cleaning towel included in the kit — a proper preparation is required to ensure optimal results. Thoroughly clean the entire area with car detergent. Apply a thin amount of alcohol and let it dry, 5 minutes Apply a thin layer of 3M Primer 94 (this is the key), and let it dry for about 5 minutes. Install all seals within one hour. Thanks, Sylvain

Easy to fit, Just assemble off the car including rubber remove the tape covers and click into place. Great product and should come on the vehicle. Tesla Model 3 Performance 2023

After opening and closing the doors twice, there is no adhesion and it becomes worthless.

Fait ce qu’il doit faire. Pratique pour retenir la neige en hiver. Faire l’assemblage avant de l’installer en place pour glisser la lèvre d’étanchéité facilement. Se clip facilement dans les ouvertures en place. Recommande le produit et le fournisseur.
