I have cut out and replaced nearly every gasket on my pellet stove with this product. The thickness and durability of this silicone aids in it's ability to seal. It cleans easily with soapy water and when both surfaces are clean there is a slight adhesion affect. It definitely sticks to flat side plate covers when they are removed for cleaning. Removed, cleaned and reinstalled these gaskets at least 12 times this past winter. Besides some discoloration, they are no worse for the wear.

This product has no adhesive backing, so stickiness is not actually rated, but the Amazon system doesn't understand how to deal with that.. This is a high quality silicone rubber product. Very heat resistant, which is what I needed. I held a soldering pencil against the surface, set a7 700°F, and it does not mar the surface of the rubber. Thickness is a uniform 1/8" as specified. Excellent stuff, everything I expected, and a reasonable price as well.

This product arrived rolled up, just as other reviewers indicated. You will need to lay it out flat with some weight on top of it for a short time before attempting to cut it. I didn't notice any out-gassing odor from this product but then I was working around fuel oil and it dominated the aromatic environment. Product was easy to work with and sealed up the gaps as I expected. Cut it with a SHARP utility knife and if you want holes, go find an inexpensive leather hole punch to make those circular openings.

Needed this flexible silicone to lay flat on its own for my specific application. The material was received in a rolled form (which occupies more volume in inventory and shipping!) and was received in an envelope big enough to have held a flat piece. High-temperature exposure did not relax the curling. Although the photos seem like this would be flat, will now have to look elsewhere for a flat slab or make it from resin myself.

This item is really well-made, I have to say. It's definitely a quality product. Unfortunately, it just wasn't the right fit for what I needed it for right now. I was a bit bummed about that. But seriously, the quality is top-notch.

The heat resistant silicone rubber was purchased because of a soldering iron it seemed to be missing a barrier between the iron part and the plastic handle. Caught out a circle fitted the piece in where it goes and works great.

J'ai réparé des joins d'étanchéité de mon distillateur à eau. Je confirme que dans cette échelle de température 212°F ou 100°C et quelques duzai5de degrés de plus ça tient bien le coup. Formidable pour bricoleurs comme moi.
