I bought this kettle having recently had power cuts, but have a gas hob Much safer than boiling water in saucepans and it whistles clearly when the water boils, so no need to keep checking it. Looks quite smart and appears sturdy

Good however the whistle is not great does the job tho Takes a long time to boil on a gas stove Handle on the weaker side

Brilliant kettle, typical looking camping kettle, it's very light, stable and the boiling is brilliant - very good kettle. Will last a while I reckon. We made a few cuppas with it and even boiled some hot dogs in it because we forgot the saucepan 😅. It's very shiny too, so if you need to check your hair before going the toilets, use it 😂

As Which? would say - Don't Buy. It's dangerous and a H & S risk. It says on the box "Black handle and knob stay cool even when kettle is hot" WRONG! The handle get hot enough to burn your hand. Product should be removed from sale. Experimenting when boiled on a small gas burner it just gets hot, requiring an oven glove to hold. If put on a large burner for a quicker boil it gets far too hot to get near with an ungloved hand.

Heavy duty is inaccurate. It's very thin metal. Fine for camping but you're not going to impress people with the quality. Has some sharp edges.

This is NOT the kettle you want. The same day I bought it, used it once and the handle was too hot to touch and melted a bit on the side and the 2nd time the entire plastic on the spout melted off

I was happy with the size of it. But unfortunately the quality is poor. The lid on the spout doesn't work properly causing it to not close fully and as a result no whistle! So when I put on the kettle, I have to check repeatedly to see if the water is boiling or not. So, in my opinion, it fails in it's basic function of a whistling kettle.

The fitting over the spout is not flush, therefore the kettle does not whistle.

SCAM!!! The kettle is not 3l it’s tiny and fits maybe 2l !!!! and took 16 days to refund me
