Receptacle Wall Plate, Outlet Covers Wall Plate for Hubbell Bryant 313292 SS701 9450A (Pack of 1)

I'm giving this a 5 star review because it looks nice and is exactly what it says it is... but I did return it and want to help people avoid some mistakes I made and have seen others make: 1) Some people complain the product is blue. These people do not realize the product comes with a thin blue layer of plastic to prevent scratches in shipping/installation. This plastic can be peeled off to reveal the stainless steel finish beneath 2) This product is the appropriate diameter for Hubbell and Bryant NEMA outlets which are great for car chargers. However, it must be paired with the proper type of box. Note that there are only four screw holes, the holes that go into receptacle. There are no additional holes to mount this to a box. My box required holes in each corner to mount. 3) Most people will be better served going to their local hardware store and grabbing one. If you shop at HD, look up Steel City RS14-10R. It's not as pretty as this plate, but it works with more boxes and provides a little more space for the wires in the box which is nice when you have a receptacle this chunky with thick wires running into.

Bought this for the Hubbell 9450A for my EV. That outlet doesn’t fit with the regular NEMA 14-50 cover that was used in my garage. Electrician installed this and the Hubbell seamlessly. Fits as described, no extra fuss or cutting needed.

This is a nice receptacle wall plate for the Hubbell receptacles, which are slightly larger than the standard NEMA 14-50 receptacles (because Hubbell makes high quality, durable receptacles suitable for EV charging).

Fits and solid but edge is very sharp

I’m not sure why people are complaining about this plate. Looks great and does the job. They should be complaining about the electrician installing their plug in properly. Some are sideways and even upside down.🤦🏼‍♀️

This was fine. Bought it to use with my level 2 EV supply box in the garage. An important thing to know about 14-50 (dryer/range) receptacles (i.e., outlets) is that most of them are not designed for a continuous high current load like charging an EV all night and they can be unsafe. The best one for EVs is the Hubbell Bryant 9450 and this is the wall plate that fits that.

THIS DOES NOT FIT HUBBELL 9450 .. the hole is too small .. needs to be 2.5 inches and hole is only about 2 inches !!!!!!

The product doesn't fit Hubbell HBL9450A , the hole is around 2.15 but it should be 2.48. It is too small.

The product did not match the image. Does not fit the Bryant receptacle.
