Great, but not so great for cars.
The product is great, my only problem is that the bungees are too short to go from one side to the other without literally going under your car and reaching far with your arm to pull it over. I ended up taking the two bungee cords, cutting the two ends and making one longer one and that works fine but now I only have one tiedown and four hooks. For the price however, I still give it a four-star.

Almost perfect
They do a pretty good job of keeping the cover on the car in higher winds but will slip during higher winds. If high winds are predicted I just take the cover off.

Does not hold when windy
I originally rated these as 5-Stars. No problem with the bungees as they are still in good shape. My problem is with the clips eventhough they still appear to be in good shape. Initially, I had no problem with the clips but over time, and especially when it's windy, the clips will not hold. I bundled the car cover, put the clips on as tight as I can get them but they are always disconnecting when it gets windy. It seems like when the wind is over 12 mph (today it's 20 mph), it's off in a short time as the clips do not "bite" hard enough.

They were cheap but sturdy good quality
Like the fact that they hold car cover down in bad storms or bad wind

Easy to use
Stored our auto in a storage lot and were concerned about the car cover may not withstand heavy winds and expose the car, so ordered these Gust Guards. Easy to put on and kept the cover intact.

Work well in my windy desert
Holds the cover on, although I do have extra straps as 40 mph winds are common. I use these under the front and rear bumper on a '68 Pontiac and they are key helping the top survive the wind

great product
you need two sets since one set is not strong enough for oklahoma winds

Good kit, could use better clips.
Works pretty well, its something decent to hold down your car cover. Though on one of my clips, the sliding piece to lock on the teeth just broke and the bungee flew out. So perhaps a better clip for the duration but, otherwise a good kit. Ive seen a twist screw clip out there, after mine broke that might be a better upgrade.. look for those in case this slide version breaks on you.

a heavy object would work better sitting on top of the vehicle cover during a heavy wind.
Absolute Garbage! The clips kept slipping off of the car cover. They do not have enough grip to hold on to the cover tightly. The version I have is the bungee type. I tried a few times to make this work. On the last attempt the clip let go and the bungee went flying snapping hard against my Camaro causing damage. Even if this did work as intended out of the box, there are plastic burs on the clips that are leftover from the manufacturing process that would absolutely scratch the vehicle during a heavy wind anyways as the clips touch the vehicle when in use. I am going to try and have to modify this to make it work somehow. Seems like the bungee cord needs to be a few inches longer to still be tight but still loose enough to hold properly. I am going to sand the burs off of the plastic clips. I would not recommend to anyone wanting to use on a cover to cover something of any significant value.

Poor - weak plastic clamps. Bungees not long enough for large car.
The first time I went to use this, one of the plastic clamps broke. The bungees are also not long enough to stretch across a large car.
