I bought this because I wanted clearer sauces for my Chinese cooking. It's as easy to use as cornstarch and leaves no taste just a nice, smooth texture that makes your cooking look a bit more polished. It takes so little to thickened, I think the container will last a long time, so worth the money. It work perfectly and is gluten free for those who can't use flour.

I don't know why but in my Chinese cooking there's corn starch directions and there's potato starch directions within the same recipe. I don't question why I just buy potato starch lol. I notice that potato starch is more powerful than corn starch so you can use less in a slurry. I like that unlike what I can get at the Asian store this isn't in a bag but it's own canister which is nice and there's a lot of it for a low price. I trust this company for honest ingredients unlike my kind of grimy Asian store in my neighborhood lol. Great product and my shrimp in lobster sauce came out perfectly.

A great replacement for eggs. My wife is allergic to eggs, but now she can have great tasting snickerdoodle cookies again! Two tablespoons of potato starch mixed with three tablespoons of warm water for each egg called out in the recipe. Works for brownies also.

When making meat jun at home I had always struggled with achieving that restaurant quality taste and texture, little did I know is that the key is potato starch. I had been using corn starch and it never came out right. Now I am making meat jun like a pro. Wonderful product
