These are the best scoby’s ever. They are large and thick. My kombucha always comes out perfect every time with these. My only issue is that you only get 1/4 cup of starter tea with each scoby. Which is not enough for me to make a gallon of kombucha. It plainly states that 1/4 cup of starter tea will only make 1/4 gallon of kombucha. Even knowing that I still consider these to be the best scoby’s of choice. Just wish there was more starter tea.

Well satisfied with the quality of this scoby. Yes, as others have said it is on the small size. Its size is 5” as stated in the description which is good for small batches. I normally brew gallon batches so I’ll be raising this baby up to size which isn’t a problem.

Very nice thick Scoby. Also had starter tea included. Works great. Used it 3 times now & still doing good.

I bought two of these. They both arrived in a condition that was unusable. The packaging was leaking. And the inner foil pouch had delaminated and there was floating pieces of plastic and foil in the bag with the scoby. The first photo is the outer bag. I took a photo to show that the liquid had leaked into the outer bag. The remaining photos are of the bag containing the scoby.

The scone is as large as stated and it was very healthy. It is healthy and strong enough to keep making more SCOBIES. It is very easy to use because it is a healthy specimen. Makes excellent tasting kombucha.

Scoby was in great shape. Not very much starter, but that’s ok. They get one less star because their recipe, printed on the bag, is horrible. Way too much tea to sugar. Made the kombucha bitter. I usually follow a recipe off Pinterest, but since this was the recipe that came with my scoby, I thought I would try it out. Still, healthy scoby is what I needed after moving.

This is great. Already made a batch of kombucha and it tastes great.

It came in good condition and had no mold. I made about 10 batches of 2 gallons of Kombutcha with it.
