Pure joy
Leonard Cohen has a way of understanding the joys and pain of love better than any other living poet/songwriter. 'Dance me to the end of love' is one of his great happy love songs "we're both of us beneath our love,we're both of us above" and combine this with the paintings of Matisse and you have a beautiful book that can only uplift you and bring joy.And the Amazon price is amazing value.

Stunning book. Beautiful words as usual from Leonard Cohen and each line with perfectly chosen, moving and apt illustrations from the work of Matisseach. Moved me to tears.

Unique great gift.
Took so long for delivery, but worth the wait as it wasn't in stock. A gift for a Cohen fan and someone who appreciates art. Unusual in concept and welcomingly different.

A lovely present
I bought this as a gift for a friend so was happy to receive it in pristine condition and half the price of the last copy left in my local Waterstones which was grubby and unfit to present to anyone! So well done!

Money wasted
I like Cohen and art in general so the idea of the book was good but unfortunately the book was a big disappointment and I regret I bought it, really. I share the same view of Mr Paul Marshall above: "I wouldn't recommend this at all. Lots of bog standard Matisse prints with Leonard Cohen lyrics put through them in a feeble attempt to repackage an art book they couldn't sell. I love both Matisse and Leonard Cohen, but this is a complete waste of money."

Qualität nicht wie beschrieben
Der Inhalt (Bilder und Texte) wie erwartet sehr gut. Im Buch Innenseite steht ein handschriftlicher, längerer Text. Deshalb nicht wie beschrieben in "sehr gutem Zustand". Das Buch wurde darüber hinaus mit einem Papierklebestreifen zusammengehalten, der sich nicht vollständig entfernen lässt. Insgesamt also enttäuschender Zustand. Die Zustellungszeit überschritten.
