This one is much better than the other cheap brands on Amazon. I bought the other brand for my girlfriends car and it constantly needs wiggled or plugged back in hard. And it's not the cord! This one doesn't do that so I bought 2. One for her and one for me. This is a good quality cord that is the correct size for your rocker switch-blank. I just wish someone made one specifically for a 98 infiniti qx4/R50 pathfinder. But, I made this one work after I dremeled my trim to fit

Perfect fit for 07 4runner
Fits perfect in the dash on my 07 4Runner. CarPlay works like normal. Installs quick if familiar with dash panels

This fits in a blank slot in an 06 Tundra double cab.

Mechanical connection issue's.
Connected this to my truck stereo and worked first day then kept loosing connection. I tried two different cables and still the same. The usb cable inserts correctly but it’s too loose and once the cable moves it looses connection. I would not recommend this to anyone wanting to hook their phone via usb to their stereo. I will try to get with the vendor but don't have high hopes for a resolution. If it turns out different I will update you all.

Works great, but usb port a little loose
I had this installed when we redid the head unit. It looks perfect and lets us connect a phone to the head unit to run Android Auto. It also charges the phone. However, the usb port to the plug into is very loose fitting, so your phone can become unplugged at the slightest movement. Hopefully, it lasts a while.

Not great, but it works
It does the job of relocating the stereo USB plug. It's cheaply made and will loose connection over bumps. Have tried several usbs, and they all did the same.

Solid product. Supports Apple CarPlay
Purchased for my 2004 4Runner. Charges my phone and Apple CarPlay works great. If you are contemplating between this and a product $5 cheaper, just buy this one. It does what it says it does.
