Great scent but very small bottle
When I have purchased this overseas, I would get a huge bottle for $3 to $5 a piece. I was very disappointed with the size of the item. I paid the price of a bottle of Dove soap and I got a baby bottle. The soap itself lathers very nicely and the scent is still great. I would have given it a higher rating if the bottle wouldn't have been so small for the price.

Luxe Bodywash French Rose not the scent I remember from 1950's
The prodict is heavy, viscose and of a slippery texture but it does rinse off easily. Cleans well and leaves skin smoewhat smooth however, it does dry skin. The most notable thing is the scent. Def does not have the smell of original Luxe soap which was pure rose. It smells more like strong detergent. Am not keen on it but using it for when I hand clean cooking and baking tools and as hand soap. I wonder if soap would still have same formula. It seems almost everything , including perfume from 1930' s to 1950' s no longer has same formulation. Still price is not too bad but size is small though with thick vicosity should last a bot; bought two.
