This is a lovely quality soft star with a gentle sound of music playing plus a nice soft glow of lights - great for bedtime. I’ve bought two of these they are so good for my kids ( 4 and 8 ) Just one button turns it on and off so much better than the anxiety koalas that usually break within days of using due to the breathing mechanism jamming or breaking. This star is really cuddly and comforting for the kids and both mine take them to bed happily and drift off to sleep quickly as a result. Really recommended- expensive at £20 but then quality is never cheap.

It’s a comfy material, cushion face is cute, easy to use, it functions well, lights up and music plays beautifully, not too loud or quiet. It really helps me to go to sleep. Is smaller than I’d like it to be though, I guess it’s an ideal size for kids rather than adults. Helps with autism.

I bought two of these for my children. One aged 2 and the other aged 4. The 2 year old could not press the button to get the light and music on! This caused such a screaming match at night having to go in and out of her bedroom 20 times because she didn’t have the strength to push down on the button. My 4 year old was able to do it no bother. So if buying this keep in mind it’s better suited to older kids because the button is difficult to find and switch on for younger kids. Also when you do switch it on the lights and music stay on for about 2-3 mins then goes off. The cusion itself is very thin. My 4 year old likes using as a pillow and you can’t really because the battery box is just so hard under the thin fabric. Not worth the price I paid tbh. I bought a teddy dog similar and it was £4 worked the same.

My teenager with special needs absolutely loves this! She usually like things with music, lights, and soft fabric to rub against - and this has all of that! We’ve had a long week with various appts and errands, and my daughter will tell me in the morning what she wants me to bring when I pick her up from school. And she’s telling me she wants a snack, drink, and Star!!! It’s nice after a long day at school to get in the car and squeeze that button on to help her relax and transition to wherever we need to go! And I think an important thing to add, which I don’t see mentioned, is that when you turn the music On, the song plays through twice before ending. So you can press it as many times as you want it to keep playing. But if you want to leave your kid at bedtime with this on, it’s not going to play forever and run the battery out overnight if you forget to go in and turn it off. It will go off itself after playing a few minutes or so!
