Solidly built, looks sturdy and durable, only complaint is it should fit better into 2" receiver.

The rack is a poor fit in the receiver and it wobbles dangerously with several inches of motion at the top of the rack. I wouldn't drive down the road with this rack, even with no bikes. The rack stabilization kit that it comes with to address the issue is an admission of the poor tolerances. That kit unfortunately won't fit on my car, so chance to see if it works. Other reviewers indicate that it easily comes loose which tracks with the design. Avoid. Unusable. And a last note to Amazon, I am blocked from returning as the time period has expired, but I tried installing on the first nice spring day I could. Amazon has unfortunately gotten pretty far from Bezos' customer-centric vision.

I own three bike racks and in terms of beefiness and build quality this one is substantially better. It's also well-designed, with rubber straps that are fairly easy to pull on and off, yet secure enough not to pop off on their own. My other racks have Velcro straps that are more difficult to tighten and don't weather as well as these will. Similarly, the latches to tilt down the rack for trunk access or fold up the arms when not in use are quick and intuitive, while the reflectors on the arm tips shows some nice attention to detail. Also included is a U-shaped hitch tightener that can reduce wobbling, plus a crossbar adapter for mounting women's and other low-cut bikes. Keep in mind that this rack fits a 2" hitch, so if you have a compact sedan like a Civic or Corolla, you likely have a 1-1/4" hitch. Tube adapters are fairly inexpensive, but you'd be better off selecting a bike rack specifically made for your hitch size. Overall this rack is a great choice and an excellent value, especially given the included hitch tightener and crossbar adapter.

This rack is strong and heavy duty. The straps are easy to install and feels secure. It fits perfectly into a 2in receiver.
