Necessary for swapping out the weak Lenovo PSU to a standard ATX PSU.
Excellent cable. Worked exactly as expected. Wanted to install a better GPU into a Lenovo Thinkcentre M900, but the PSU was too weak. Replaced the PSU and purchased this cable to adapt the 24pin connector of the PSU to the proprietary 10pin Lenovo motherboard. Works perfectly with no issues. Cable is well crafted and the sleeve material is nice.

Great product, but it can only do so much.
This item worked perfectly to power the Lenovo Server using a high end power supply. However be warned, these server motherboards only route so much power through the on-board circuits. Even though my 800 W powersupply was able to power the board, and feed extra external power to my high end graphics card. The lines going to the motherboard by design were not enough to supply sufficient constant power to the PCIe x 16 slot to keep the system stable. Ultimately I had to upgrade the whole system. This is a built-in deficit of the motherboard, and not a fault of the conversion cable.

Great adapter for a great price
Industry standard gauge wires and build. Easily convert a 10 pin power connector to a modern, non proprietary, standard ATX power supply. This unit is inexpensive, does the job and is built well! Highly recommended.

Blew my computer up
Thought it was a easy conversion... nope. It made the mother board glow and graphics card spark... i gotta live and learn with this stupid decision.

Just what I needed
I had a 400 watt Aftermarket PSU I wanted to use on an old lenovo motherboard to make a home server. I needed more SATA power cables and added a lower power GPU for hardware encoding.

Works as advertised
This works. I do have some feedback through it that requires me to manually turn off the power supply after the PC is turned off. I have been unable to determine if this is the motherboard or this adapter.
