Shoe & Boot Dryer for Work Boots, Forced Air, 2-Hour Timer, Black

I’ve been really happy with this boot dryer. It dries boots quickly and thoroughly, even after being soaked from rain or snow. It’s easy to use, runs quietly, and helps eliminate that damp smell that can build up over time. My boots are dry and warm by the next morning, and I haven’t noticed any damage to the materials. If you spend a lot of time outdoors or work in wet conditions, this is definitely worth the purchase.

This boots dryer works amazingly well. My husband works out doors in all seasons and is always coming home with wet work boots. And he was always having to go to work the next day with wet boots on and having to change his socks because they would be too wet half way through the day just from the boots being wet from the day before. Never mind the issues wearing wet footwear can cause on your feet! I had bought one of these a few years ago but it didn't work well so we returned it. I decided to give this one a try this year when he was having the same issue with having to wear wet boots to work. Well all I can say is he is SO happy with how this worked with drying his boots! All you need to do is open up the boot stands and put each boot over each of the stands...set the times and BINGO! Dry boots! Now his boots are not SOAKING wet. You can not use this if they are soaking wet. But they were wet where if you put your hand inside of the boot down into the toe area...you could feel that the leather was wet enough to feel it on the inside. I take out his boot inserts too before I dry them..Just to make sure if there is any wetness on the boot itself under where the inserts are...that part gets dry too. And I don't think I have ever had to dry them any longer than 20-25 minutes before they were completely dry. You can set the timer for longer if need be. And this dryer is not only for boots. You can actually use it on any shoe or size. Kids shoes, womens footwear, snowboarding, wet slippers! Anythings! I'll not sure if you are supposed to or not...but I have also used it on a low time setting to dry our kids winter mittens after they came in from playing in the snow and before they went back out again. Worked great! Definitely worth the purchase. We are both very happy with it and so are by husbands feet! Another guy he works with has already bought the same one when he was complaining about his wet boots to my husband and he told him I had gotten him this and how well it works.

Dries your boots as expected, easy to use for sure, timer does exactly what it’s supposed to, it does give off enough heat to dry but not too hot to burn your shoes or boots. Has stability and is compact for on the go uses too. As far as functionality, I think my boots might just be heavy, but the arms don’t stay in place when putting my boots on it. They tend to slide down

Update: After seeing my original review, the manufacturer sent me an upgraded unit. Took a while to try out because it hadn’t rained. Finally got to try it this morning. It’s better than the first style but still doesn’t dry very much. There is a digital temperature control button as well as an ozone/ sanitizing button. It’s not super loud but loud enough I had to turn the tv up when in use. The boot holders seem to be a little stronger than the last style and once I clicked the supports past the little buttons on the insides, they stayed up. It seemed to be sucking air from the boot area and blowing it out in the base. I’m not sure if that’s to suck the moisture out or if there is a setting I’m missing somehow but it wasn’t particularly helpful with drying the boots. I couldn’t feel any heat in the boot area even after adjusting the temperature so Im not sure it’s very effective. I upgraded my review to 4 stars even though the design is better because there is still room for improvement. The directions are a bit confusing but it still is better than their original design. Last three photos are the new unit. It does dry but just barely. My husband had a pair of wet boots that were still wet after trying to dry them on this thing off and on for 6 days. The timer knob is confusing because you don’t actually know how long you’re setting it for. But the most frustrating part was that the boot holders collapsed every time I tried to put the boots on and I could never get them to stay extended, even without boots on them. Seems to be made of cheap plastic that was possibly already used when I received it. It’s also loud. The heater part heats up but there is no variable heat so it’s only warm. Due to the extenders not working I’m going to return this and look for a sturdier option. I can’t use if if it won’t function properly. I thought I might double it’s use as an aid to drying my line dry clothes at home indoors but it’s not going to be powerful enough for that and again, since the extensions don’t stay up, that option is also out for me. I thought making sure the extender buttons clicked into place would help but once the boots go on it still collapses.

So imma be straight. Took a little tinkering to figure it out. Turns out you gotta pull them out with a little force for the arms to fully extend and not sink back in. Makes kind of an annoying fan sound but I can overlook that. Dried my soggy as boots in an hour. Worth it’s weight in gold. I see someone talking about 4 hours not being enough but….. like 1 hour was good and these were my work boots. Love that I can fold it up and put it away. And yes to appease the little check box at the bottom of the review box, yes it gets hot and does the trick. Once I figured the little trick to get it to stay fully extended, it was perfect. Stands straight up nicely. And yea, best 25 bucks I spent in a while. The fan noise is annoying but you know what’s more annoying? Wet boots. Put it somewhere where the noise won’t make its way to you. For now I leave it with 5 stars z also write this the same day I got it and used it.

Bad Design – Cannot Control Heat Temperature and Control Fan Separately - Maximum 4 Hour Run Time Or Void Warranty After reading the enclosed instructions I am returning this “Auto-Off Timer – Black” model Boot Dryer. There are several design problems. When you turn the mechanical clock mechanism to the desired fan air drying time the high temperature heat comes on. You cannot turn off the heat. You cannot adjust the heat temperature. If the fan is running you get high temperature heat. The high temperature heat is especially bad for drying leather. Leather that has gotten wet needs to be coated with Neatsfoot Oil and slowly dried ONLY for a short duration low temperature heat, then dried at room temperature for at least overnight 8 hours. On this model Boot Dryer, the FAN AND HEAT only run for maximum 2 hours. Then you have to reset the timer for more time, but the instructions state to never run the Boot Dryer for more than 4 hours at a time or you will damage the Boot Dryer and void the warranty. I had a different brand of Boot Dryer for over 20 years until it finally wore out. The fan motor bearings wore out and I could not get an identical fan motor. On my old Boot Dryer you could set the drying time for 8 hours overnight. On my old Boot Dryer you could set the heating time separately. So, my usual leather boot drying technique was to start with a LOW heat setting for 30 minutes with the fan running. Then the fan was set to continue to run overnight gently drying my leather boots with room temperature air.

Updated review. Originally, I was not happy with the design. The company reached out to me and sent me the new model. The new model is excellent. More features, easier settings and very, very stable. I am more than satisfied with this product. This company is awesome. They stand by their products and do right for their customers. This is definitely the only time a company has reached out to me to make things right. I highly recommend this product. Not only because it's a good product, but because there's an excellent company behind it.

It dries but ohhhhhh my goodness it's so annoying to use. It wont stay up and is too soft and weak to handle the weight of a shoe. You have to balance it in the right position and manually insert the plastic bending piece. Once its in, it works as intended.. until a piece of dust falls on it and it falls over

Great product and dries shoes well, but only for 1 year. Now the timer and fan are working, but without heating.

El producto funciona pero su calidad es baja. El seguro para extender una de las "brazos" fallo en el segundo uso, ya que es simplemente un pedazo de plástico, parece que se derritió. Hasta el momento sigue funcionando pero después del tercer o cuarto uso, hace mucho más ruido, cómo que el ventilador está causando exceda fricción por dentro, en fin. Un producto de baja calidad por un precio medio, consideren invertir un poco más.

This worked great for 2 months, now I suspect the heating element does not work Update: I contacted the seller and received a new unit. I have been using it for my boxing gloves and to warm up socks. It also works ok for my kids boots, but probably a bit flimsy for adult steel toes. Anyway, it keeps my sports gear dry and nice smelling.

The best gift ive ever given my hubby. A must have for any working man who works in the cold or wet. Not only dries your boots but also a nice lil pick me up in the morning! Never realized it was something he needed until he had it. Definition pampering 😉
