It’s as described. Pretty pliable and soft but not like putty. Stretches easily it should work for your needs were it is required for this product. Metal to metal on my old car works fine. Weather strip Chanel tracks ect. Came in a nice roll. Packing was very nice. Easy to use product. Cool area I used it in around 60 degrees. No mess.

About this to install a fan in the bathroom of my camper. I instantly tested to see if it was waterproof before I added my Henry's tropicool sealant on top. It worked perfect I left the water hose on the roof with water hitting Butly tape directly no water penetration whatsoever before I even put the screws to tighten it down this stuff is amazing. It's incredibly sticky and the thickness was exactly as described

very good and strong sealant tape for vents and anything you want to keep water out very sticky i have used butyl tape on many things and none leaked.highly recommended.

I use this up underneath some RV parts that I installed along with the screws. It seemed to do OK.

Great product and flexible enough to do the sealant jobs I needed. I ought for my RV to install some additional solar panels and place under my slam lock catch that had a leak. I can already see a few other places I can use it so imagine it will just stay in my camper for some emergency situations.

I am a window glazer and use butyl tape all the time. This is really good stuff and a great value. I did not use this for glass but for car audio sound deadening to reduce resonance and rattles everywhere hard surfaces move and make contact. I also use it as an adhesive on many things.

Bought this to replace a similar item that arrived in a much bigger kit for a self-build shed which had melted into a sticky mess during shipping. This product was well packaged , even to the point of being enclosed in a circle of polystyrene to stop it rattling around inside the box, so it arrived in perfect shape. It unrolled easily and smoothly for application - best if one person holds the roll and the other applies it to the surface as it is very, very sticky which you want it to be for its purpose! It was easy to cut with scissors - best done with the paper backing still on. Would recommend.

Excellent waterproof product for sealing safety glass into stainless steel frames for boat portals. Stays soft and pliable in very cold temps. I tested this down to -10 F and still extremely adhesive and pliable. Easy to work with.

This is a pricey but efficient product for eliminating leaks in metal roofs. I couldn't stop water dripping through the aluminum Yardistry gazebo roof, no matter what kind of sealant I used. Was applying new specialized roofing products two seasons in a row until I read about this tape. It was not easy to apply but it seemingly finally resolved the issue. If I ever have to assemble a metal gazebo roof again, I will install this product from the get-go.
