Yes this pocket mag carrier is bulky but I don’t mind it. The plastic is a nice touch and helps to keep in wanted scratches to objects. The clip is firm! So firm I can barely get my finger to pull it up. I carry 15-18 round echelon mags just fine. The bottom of the extended mag does stick up a bit but that’s to be expected. The mags release off the clip smoothly and don’t try to hold on under deliberate force. I could recommend this to many people. The only thing that could make it better would be a buy one get one free.

This works really well. I do however wish that the clip extended an inch or so above the magnet to allow for a deeper conceal when clipped into a standard front pocket. As it is currently implemented, the top of the magazine sticks out over the top of the clip. Fine if you're wearing an untucked shirt, but pretty obvious if not. If it had that extra couple inches, the extra magazine would just disappear. Using with Kimber Micro 9 - 8 round extended mag and Glock 26 10 round with pinky extension. Holds mag right in place.

It keeps the magazine in your pocket, but the retention of the holder is non-existent. The holder is coming out with the magazine, due to the cheap design and manufacture of the clip. There is a rubber piece that is designed to hold the clip in your pocket which fell off within a few days. Even with the ripper its retention, the holder does not effectively stay on your pocket during mag changes. For carrying a spare when you otherwise would not, it works as a knockoff of the original design, but for any kind of tac reload or speed reload, this is not the product to buy as it essentially requires you to holster your weapon and use two hands to retrieve the magazine.

Love this. Keeps the magazine in place in a hip pocket while being easy to draw.

size of the 9 mm is too small which creates a pivot point and the magnate is not strong enough to hold a loaded (HK VP30/9) mag normal walking and bending causes the magnet to loose control and it's all over the plastic ABS needs to be 2x longer and it needs much stronger magnets Do not recommend

The magnet itself is solid—it holds my Canik single-stack magazines securely with no issue. Unfortunately, the clip design really holds this product back. If you’re attaching it to very thick fabric, jeans, or a stiff belt, it might work, but in everyday use the clip just pulls right out when I try to withdraw a magazine. I’ve ended up leaving it at home more often than not because of that flaw. Another issue is the clip orientation: the narrow portion is mounted at the top with the wider portion below, which makes concealing the magazine unnecessarily difficult. A more practical design would be to use something along the lines of an Ulticlip (see UltiClip UltiTuck for example) that actually bites into the fabric and stays put. Overall, this product has promise—the magnet is excellent—but the clip needs a serious redesign before it can be relied on for everyday carry.

Needed an extra mag carrier for completion mainly to have a place to hold my first load mag without using up one of my other 3 reload mags carrier spots, retention is good, holds a 21 round 9mm double stack easily, now it your on the move they are liable to fall, overall perfect for what I needed, hold a mag while I get ready
